Guest guest Posted May 3, 2009 Report Share Posted May 3, 2009 Namaste, I had a great run with advaitins, even got some of Ramana's most obtuse quotes on to posts....Eventually however I apparently breached the religion of advaita when I started on ParaAdvaita. ie above non dualism. I foundered on 'it never happened' and saying that Ramana's description of sat-cit-ananda as qualities was tantamount to the same thing as attributes or gunas/modes as they were something that existed, or were descriptive. Not possible with the description Nir Guna or Nir Vikalpa. Nothing means nothing...even if it is hard to accept and is inexplicable in a positive way.............Tony.
