This unleavened bread or host is a recollection of the last supper of

Jesus---his passover dinner with matzoh bread.

 

He broke the bread and served the wine saying 'this is my body and this is my

blood'...Jesus was talking universally as everything was his body and

blood........The Churches didn't fully comprehend what he was saying so they

assumed he was only referring to the bread and wine...and developed the doctrine

of transubstantiation. If they had had the benefit of Jesus' Indian education

they would have understood his advaita...............Tony.
