Namaste,

Gautam was a Buddha, a bhodisattva, an avatar, a descent or whatever term you

want to use. It is just a concept for somebody who 'puts off' realisation to

come and help.....or it could be their karma..

We are all descents and avatars anyway so it is just a concept, for why anybody

would wish or need to put off realisation I don't know...

Namaste Jan,

I think that bhakti and dualism cause the concept for there is no room in ajata

and advaita for it really...........
