Talk 324.10th January, 1937Sri Bhagavan said, “A frog is often compared to a yogi. It remains quiet for a long time, the only sign of life being the rhythmic movement of the under-skin below the neck.”

“Again frogs can remain for extraordinary long periods with their animation suspended. They are said to swallow their tongues.Swallowing the tongue is a yogic practice. The animation is suspended. The yogi does not die but the tongue must be drawn out by someone else before life-activity is resumed. It is a wonder how the frog brings out the already swallowed tongue and resumes activity.”

Namaste,

Yes when an animal sits still it is surrendered to its Self. It has no ego so is

closer than a human. Unfortunately the animal doesn't have a developed

vijnanamayakosa, and is prey to its instincts............Tony.
