Grace is the Self. Because of the false identification of the Self with the body the Guru is considered to be with body. But from the Guru’s outlook the Guru is only the Self. The Self is one only. He tells that the Self alone is. Is not then the Self your Guru? Where else will Grace come from? It is from the Self alone. Manifestation of the Self is a manifestation of Grace and vice versa. All these doubts arise because of the wrong outlook and consequent expectation of things externalto oneself. Nothing is external to the Self. From Talks
Guest guest
..IMO..Grace is Brahman, Grace is The Self, Grace is the I Am consciousness.....Where the Self is reflected. Bhakti Devotion and Sadhana creates energy which burns up or fries the vasanas, so they cannot sprout.. A Guru can do this with Diksha or projected energy, for both the Jnani or Bhakta alike. Self Enquiry and sadhana of a sadhaka on the path of Jnana removes the vasanas or fries them. 'I Am' consciousness is the Pond reflecting The Self...Vasanas are the scum on the surface impeding this reflection of The Grace..So The Self Helps those that Helps themselves...Only a Mukta Guru or our own Sadhana creates the Grace...The Self as ever is the Sakshin or witness...The amount of Grace we receive is in proportion to the amount of progress we make in removing vasanas....all part of Prarabda Karma really.....Love Tony.
