Maharshi-If you see the Self, Self-knowledge will shine.

Q: I have read much of the Vedas and the sastras [scriptures], but no

Atma jnana [self-knowledge] has come to me. Why is this?

 

Bhagavan:

Self-knowledge will come to you only if it is there in the scriptures. If you see the scriptures, knowledge of the scriptures will come.

If you see the Self, Self-knowledge will shine.
