Guest guest
Bhagavan was frequently asked by visitors "What is the best or easiest way to control the mind". This question used to be put alike by those who have read Bhagvan's books and those who were strangers to his teaching. His usual reply, based on the method of self-enquiry that he prescribed, was: "Who wants to control the mind? Who is the "I" that wants to control, that puts this question? If you find that out, all will be solved". But alike for those who followed this method and those who followed other methods, he used to sayThere is no shortcut. There is only one thing to do. As explained in the Gita, as often as the restless mind goes outwards after various things draw it inwards and fix it on the Self. This is not easy. But do it constantly. By constant practice you will gradually gain the strength to control the mind, till you finally become its master."
