Guest guest
Once, when Bhagavan was leaving the hall to go for lunch, somebody accosted him with a question: "Is a man's caste determined by his birth or character?" Bhagavan turned to him sharply and said, " Surely you ask such questions with a motive. You are looking for a quarrel in order to get people into trouble. You imagine you are going to mend the world with your questions. Who are you to meddle with the world? Look after yourself first. Do you know yourself? Do you know what you really want? How can you know what the world needs when you are blind to your own true needs? First set yourself right." ~ taken from THE POWER OF THE PRESENCE, VOL. 3, p. 73 edited by David Godman
