Guest guest
from chapter Advice on Sadhana 10 The foremost of all sadhanas is silence of the mind; this is what true devotees should practise. Bhagavan: Silence is of four kinds: silence of speech, silence of the eye, silence of the ear, and silence of the mind. Only the last is pure silence, and it is the most important. 15 The first and most important lesson that has to be learned by sadhakas is silence. 16 The silence [of not speaking] is the medicine that can change the habit of speaking pointlessly like a mad person.
