Guest guest
One thing that we need to be aware of these days is the charging of money for sacred non-dual teachings. So many groups and 'gurus' out there give satsangs and seminars, and they demand lots of money for those seminars and satsangs as well. I will not mention any names, but one so-called 'guru' wants $500 to spend three days with her. Another wants $1200 for a week, room and board extra. This is an abomination of the sacred teachings of the non-dual Truth, which itself is and must be EVER FREE. By charging for sacred teachings, we are getting a clear message from the so-called 'guru' that he or she is an imposter out to take financial advantage of aspirants. I would recommend to all aspirants to avoid any satsang or seminar where money is asked for or demanded for sacred teachings. Sri Ramana Maharshi NEVER asked for a penney or a rupee in all the years he shared sacred teachings. That point was brought out beautifully in David Godmans' book, PALAMALAI, where Sri Ramana was quoted as saying that no money was ever asked for his teachings. I recommend walking the other way from all those imposters who want money from you for sacred teachings. Truth, our very Being, is eternal and always free, in all ways. Don't be fooled by those who put a price tag on the Truth. Jai Bhagavan Samadhi Ma Far Northern California USA
