Dear List Members,

On his own list, John, who is one of our group too, is doing a translation of Ramana's Forty Verses on Existence. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the original Tamil words and their meanings. Even if you do not expect to learn Tamil, you can learn a great deal from seeing what the words mean originally. As he has just done verse 2, it will be easy to catch up by looking back just a few messages. I highly recommend joining to meditate upon the meaning of the Tamil words. It will not add much to your inbox.

The link is at bottom of his post.

Thank you,

Gloria

Every religion postulates three fundamentals, the world the soul and God. The argument as to whether one First Cause manifests as three or whether three First Principles remain as three will continue as long as the ego exists. To remain in one's own [true] state, after the ' I ' has perished is the highest attainment.
