Bhagavan recommends reminding ourself that we are not the doer of the actions - it is the Supreme Power that takes care of everything. Yet, this Supreme Power is not different than the Self, right? So in a sense we are the doer, right? It seems to me the reminder is that the ego is not the doer of the action. Is my understanding clear? Your understanding is clear. When we succeed in ceasing to identify ourselves with the ego, body and mind, when we know by experience that only the one Self exists, the actions of the body will go on without individual will or the feeling of doership. Until that time arrives this idea of being the non-doer is only a concept. This concept and the faith that the All-Powerful is alone the All-Doer and we are just instruments in Its hands, helps us to detach ourselves from the body-mind identity, which in essence is the ego - Editor Discover Use to plan a weekend, have fun online more.
