1. the source Tamizh text used is 'sri aruNaachala sthuthi panchakam - viLakkavurai - mudhaR baagam (explanatory text OR commentary - Part I) by Sri. saadhu oom -

 

ஸ்ரீ அருணாசல ஸ்துதி பஞ்சகம் - விளக்கவுரை - முதற் பாகம்---- ஸ்ரீ சாது ஓம் அருளியது

 

2. NO special software / font is needed for reading the Tamizh blue 'Unicode' text (like the above line and elsewhere); please write to me if you cannot read the line just above this point after point 1.

 

3. aruNaachala akshara maNamaalai is in the form of "kuraL's" குறள் (or couplets), which are short two line verses. The first line has 4 wordclusters and the second has 3; wordcluster is a word or a word-combo that is pronounced together when the verses are chanted. A wordcluster is called 'siir' / சீர் in tamizh (the "ii" is pronounced like "ee" in the word "peel").

 

4. The verses start with each letter (both vowels and consonants) of Tamizh language.
