Guest guest
The goal, the sign, the purpose of Atma Vichara is to awaken the Self within. THE SIGN is a felt pulsing, " I " - " I " , the AHAM SPHURANA. When this happens, one should drop attention to books and practices and place ALL ATTENTION on THIS. When the mind, having pure sattva as its characteristic remains attending to the aham–sphurana, which is THE SIGN of the forthcoming direct experience of the Self, the downward-facing heart becomes upward-facing, blossoms and remains in the form of That, the Self. The ATTENTION to the SOURCE of the AHAM SPHURANA alone IS THE PATH. When thus attended to, Self, the Reality, alone will remain shining in the center of the Heart as `I am I'. " All practices should start with the inherent intuition that one is already the Self. As the Self cannot be thought about or understood intellectually, the Self itself must AWAKEN, which happens through practices that still the mind. and reading and listening to the Truth, until the True " I " , That which enlightens the body/mind RECOGNIZES ITSELF BEING REFERRED TO and a SPONTANEOUS INTUITION of the HEART (Hrdayam) occurs, manifesting as a SINGULARITY THAT ITSELF DISSOLVES THE MIND AND OUTSHINES THE BODY.
