Guest guest
dear members I am in need of an answer to this question: have the numbers attached to each talk in Talks with Sri Ramana Maharshi remained the same since the first edition? Or did they suffer any change in time? What I mean is: is talk nr. 88 ever the same during all the editions of Talks ever? thank you viorica
Guest guest
Dear Viorica in my hands are the reprinted three volumes edition of the TALKS printed in 1957 a present from dear Gabriele Ebert 6 November 1935 Talk 88 the same gentleman asked: What is the significance of Christ in the illumination of St. Paul?" M: Illumination is absolute, not associated with forms. After St.Paul became Self-conscious he identified the illumination with Christ-consciousness. D: But Paul was not a lover of Christ then? M: Love or hatred is immateral. The thought of Christ was there. It is similar to Ravanas case. Christ-consciousness and Self-Realization are all the same. all the best in ramana michael bindel , - viorica ThePowerOfSilence Cc: Saturday, September 22, 2007 5:47 PM question about Talks dear members I am in need of an answer to this question: have the numbers attached to each talk in Talks with Sri Ramana Maharshi remained the same since the first edition? Guest guest
Dear Michael, you've been of great help. My edition from 2003 shows the same talk as nr. 88. It seems that the numbers have not been changed in time. thank you, viorica , " Michael Bindel " <michael.bindel wrote: > > Dear Viorica > > > in my hands are the reprinted three volumes edition of the TALKS printed in 1957 a present from dear Gabriele Ebert > > > 6 November 1935 > > Talk 88 > > > the same gentleman asked: What is the significance of Christ in the illumination of St. Paul? Guest guest
dear members, there is just another question about Talks to members whose mother tongue is not English: has the title " Talks with Sri Ramana Maharshi " been preserved as it is in the guest language? Or has it been changed to something far from the original? I would like to hear some translated versions of this title in other languages if some of you can provide such information. thank you viorica
