Guest guest
Dear fellow sadhakas, I have found that reading ancient epics - preferably the complete edition especially those based on stories - as applicable for the concerned religion is an excellent supplement to the self enquiry process. This keeps the mind occupied (in fact deeeply engrossed) during times when self enquiry is not undertaken and day to day practical tasks are not required to be attended to. They also to serve to encourage the Sadhak by reiterating that " the reading of this scripture is soon bound to reach the Gods " which is true because such reading amounts to intensive contemplation on the divine.
