Day by Day with Bhagavan________6-11-45 EveningAn elderly gentleman and a young man were sitting infront of Bhagavan. A little before Bhagavan was about to startfor his evening stroll, the young man approached Bhagavanand said that his companion had lost his eyesight. Bhagavannodded, as usual. Soon after, Bhagavan got up and told us,"He says he has lost his eyes. I have lost my legs. He comesand tells me. To whom am I to go and complain!" For nearlya month or more Bhagavan has been having more than usualtrouble with his legs, either due to rheumatism or deficiencyof B Vitamin. But how serious it is may be realised from hissaying he has `lost his legs'. This is not the first time he hassaid, "All of you come and complain to me. To whom am I togo and complain?" This is quite consistent with his teaching,that there is nothing but the Self and that he is That!
