Dear friends,

A new book " Vedic Astrology Demystified " by Chandrashekhar Sharma who is no

stranger to this and other internet forums has now been published.

The author who was involved in the study of Vedic Astrology since he was 8

years old for a total 52 years to date incorporates his study with his

experience which form the tools that are essential for the analysis of a chart

according to Vimshottari Dasa. The latter dasa is the most popular dasa among

the majority of astrologers.

The book is hardbound consisting of 376 pages which contain all that is

necessary to effectively interpret a chart according to Vimshottari Dasa with

the principles from the classics and from other sources which together total 60

in number.

About demystification of vedic astrology, I will draw one example. It is the

use of the Savana year to time events in Vimshottari dasa. I have been using the

365 days solar year but after I read this book I am following the 360 days

Savana year. The slokas I read in the book convinced me to make the change.

There are numerous examples, citing more than one here will take up space and

time.

Suffice it to say that it has the all the tools to effectively interpret a

chart without the need for further reference. The numerous examples in the book

will help the reader to successfully learn to analyse a chart as per Vimshottari

Dasa.

The book is priced at 600 Rupees and could be got from:

22/3 Shakti Nagar, Delhi- 110007

2. Eastern Book Corporation
