Stone, finger, hand, and remedies

Namaste, Dear Members,

 

Would someone please help me understand the traditional Jyotish take

on what stone goes on which finger and on which hand, first. And

second, which stone substitute or remedies can be used to achieve the

appeasing of a negative afflicting planet or maximizing the positive

effect of a benefit planet?

 

For example, one thing that I've never been able to understand is

that some refer to the " ring finger " as the one next to " pinky " or

smallest finger or the one next to the Index finger. Then there are

others who will say the first, second, or third finger but do not say

from which side of the palm.

 

There is the issue that some advise that a stone worn on the finger

that is considered a " friend " of another planet will help the same or

almost with the same benefic effect.

 

There is the saying that the right hand enhances planets' energies

and the left hand minimizes energies; whereas some say that this

depends on the gender of the wearer.

 

Who have I been listening to? I have gone to all the websites I can

find and I cannot decide what all the different advices mean. Please

help.

 

Specifically, I have Rahu and Saturn as " great enemies " in my chart,

and I am going through Sade Sati, for which I have been told I can

use lapis lazuli if I cannot afford a blue sapphire. I don't know on

which hand and which stone to wear for an already afflicted Sani and

with Sade Sati to boot.

 

I also have a combust Venus, which has created suffering my whole

life. I don't know if I will ever be able to buy a diamond; but I

have been told that white sapphire will help and that even a clear

quartz can appease, but I don't know if the goal would be to diminish

or enhance when a planet is combust, and therefore what hand or

finger a Shukra-pleasing stone would be worn. Please clarify this.

 

Lastly, I would like to hear about remedies that can help when stones

cannot be afforded. I recite Navagraha each day, but my Sade Sati

does not let me have a good enough job and certainly I am struggling

financially a very great deal at this time. Nothing I have done has

been able to help me with these matters so far, even though I lead a

rather simple and clean life, helping everyone I can with what little

I can do.

but I would be very grateful already if the above questions could be

made clearer on hands, stones, and remedies as these have been

questions for years.
