Guest guest
ll HARE RAM ll Dear friends, Five days celebrations of auspicious festival of Dipaawali are going to be started with Dhan Teras / Trayodasi on 07th of Nov 2007 Wednesday followed by Narak Chaturdasi on 08th on Nov 2007 Thursday. Dhan Teras - The day of Dhanvantari Jayanti and Yamraj Worship On Dhan-Teras day one should light a lamp (Deepak) near the corner of the outside door to make please Yamraj Devta. It is called Deep-Daan to Yamraj so that we might not get untimely death (Akaal Mritu) and for getting the blessings of Lord Dhanvantri for good health too.To purchase any utensil for using in Mahalakshmi Poojan on this day preferably of Silver or others is treated as more auspicious. In fact Triyodisi (13th day of Kartik Krishna Paksha) is celebrated for Mahalakshmi, the next day 14th is related to Godess Saraswati and 15th the day of Amvashya for Godess Maa Kali were worshiped along with Goddess Mahalakshmi and Saraswati. Why Lord Ganesh is worshiped on that day including with Mahalakshmi because Ganesh ji is the lord of wiseness (Vivek) this means we should earn money having Honesty / Thruth. Now i explain you a very easy way of worship for Godess Mahalakshmi on Dhanteras day.Plz take 9 pieces of Bilva leafs that are used for Lord Shiva's Pooja and put Red sand on each leafs of Bilva leafs and offer eight of them to Mahalakshmi reciting undersigned name one by one and having offered eight leafs do offer ninth leaf to Mahalakshmi reciting all the names again.Than offer Aarti with Five DIYAS / DEEPAK (lamps) and out of them one keep near Tulsi plant,Second in kitchen,Third in middle of the house or near the Tap and Fourth in the South-West and Fifth before Maa Mahalakshmi, offer prasadam to Maa and after doing all the rituals KEEP LAST NINTH LEAF IN YOUR CASH BOX.Maa Mahalakshmi will bless you whole the year but we should use Desi Ghee for the Deepak that we keep in front Mata Mahalakshmi and we can use Sesame, Mustard and Coconut oil for other lamps. Names of MAHALAKSHMI ------------------------ [1] OM ADYA LAKSHAMAYAI NAMAH: [2] OM VIDYA LAKSHAMAYAI NAMAH: [3] OM SOBHAGYA LAKSHAMAYAI NAMAH: [4] OM AMRIT LAKSHAMAYAI NAMAH: [5] OM KAAM LAKSHAMAYAI NAMAH: [6] OM SATYA LAKSHAMAYAI NAMAH: [7] OM BHOGA LAKSHAMAYAI NAMAH: [8] OM YOGA LAKSHAMAYAI NAMAH: Narak Chaturdasi - Shri Hanuman Jayanti We should bathe in the holy water on this day that we keep in front of Ahoi Mata on Astami. This water cleans our inner soul and removes worries to go to Narak. To give charity on the said day is highly beneficial because this day Lord Vaaman begs three steps land to king Bali. After getting the same land Lord Vaman blessed king Bali and said who does charity this day Mahalakshmi will never leave such place. Shri Hanuman Jayanti will be celebrated on the same day.To offer Chola to Hanuman Ji is good on this day and to offer Banana in prasadam is the best alongwith other things. To recite Sunder-Kand is extremelly beneficial to get the extreme blessings of Hanuman JI.Doha No.29 to 34 is the essense / soul of Sunder Kand.So to recite the same is also useful. To chant following 12 names of Hanuman Ji are also very helpful to get his kind grace.
