In your example, the Querist was asking about a friend, so, the KARYESHA is the 11th Lord. If it was about a child, then it is the 5th Lord, if it is about profession, the 10th Lord and so on. Actually, I see no reason why all rules for intepretation of natal chart, should not be applied to Prashna. However, some authors always prescribe for a third party a 7.house as significator(karyesha), I have not seen that they take counting of houses, for a concerned house(e.g. 12.house for father conforts, 4.from 9.) in a prashna chart. Please read the basics in classics. Venus is also in rasi drishti with Mars and Saturn. For new jobs, look at the 5th house. Is the person who asked the question feeling cheated? Better would have been if they had asked, " what was the question. " My friend had lost some valuable documents and was quite worried. The documents were important. It could have put him in trouble. My answer was, you would find it. By afternoon, yesterday, he located the documents and I had told him to look for that in your Car or ask your driver. 'Prasna' is normally considered less important than 'natal' but is certainly more useful. People come to astrologers to know about their certain concerns which can be answered, perhaps, better using a Prasna than a horoscope. Further, it does not require any birth details, no complexities like rectification etc are involved. It may be useful to everybody. However, it eludes me and so far I couldn't get any success in this branch of astrology. Neither, I have any first hand experience of any other expert. Would try to contemplate over Shatpanchashika. If there is a birth chart, I always give precedence to the birth chart. It's a snapshot of transit of planets at a given point of time, read it with the help of muhurta (election) principles if wish to have excellence.
