Guest guest
Jyeshta Shuklapaksha ( 4th June to 18th June ) Vaar - Ravivaar Tithi - Shukla Jyeshta Dwadashi Nakshatra - Swati Yog - Shiv Karan - Balav Raashi - Tula Other significations of today- Pradosh Planetary positions today Sun and Venus in Gemini. Moon in Libra. Mercury in Taurus. Mars and Ketu in Cancer. Jupiter in Sagiitarius Saturn in Leo. Rahu in Capricorn. ( The astrologers must try to memorise the above planetary positions of the day and tune the mind to memorise it for the day only . Sun will not change its sign till the 15th of next month approximately. Jupiter , Saturn, Rahu and ketu we all know by heart what is the position presently. So what remains, only Venus, Moon, Mars, and Mercury. Venus and Mercury have to remain near the Sun only, so its not difficult to memorise. Now only 2 planets remain , which is Mars and Moon. This much anyone can do, hopefully ). In few days when I have the time, will also give a short note on nakshatras every day , which will help in predicting, to the astrologers. Guest guest
This is a day when many in India, observe fast or vrata. Pradosh Vrata is observed on the Trayodashi of both the fortnight (Shukla and Krishna Paksha). This is observed with the aim of achieving progeny, prosperity and fortune etc. In the evening it is a custom to perform pooja (worship) of Lord Shiv and also perform Japa (Name recitation) and religious sacrifices (Yagya). The fast is broken the next day. Guest guest
Dear Trivediji, This means that you already know something about Panchanga and what makes it. In case you are not aware, then let me tell you, that normnmally whatever Yoga karan, tithi or nakshatra is present at sunrise time, ony that is mentioned as, for the day, or understood to be for the day. But do you know that though I have mentioned Swati nakshatra,it is no more there at the moment ? We are presently in Visakha nakshatra because Visakha nakshatra was on from 6.28am today. But I have to mention Swati because, it was so at time of Sunrise. Dwadashi is going to be today till 15.58.00 hours, and Trayodashi would start, hence the important significance has to be mentioned, but I have mentioned that seperately, and not in the Panchanga.
