Dear Kaushik ji,

Please also let me know the source of this article.

Because as far as I know Brahma , Vishnu and Mahesh form a part of the same Trinity, but Rama is the incarnation of Vishnu and not Shiva. I need to clear this before we move further on.

Shiva worships Rama, and Ram worships Shiva as we all know about the Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga since the time of Lord Rama embarking on the trip to Lanka to vanquish Ravana. And also mentioned in the Tulsidasa Ramayana.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

Dear Bhaskar ji,

Why was Shiva Take the Name of Lord Ram because there was an eternal Pormise which was to be fulfilled.

Gajamukhasura did great penance toward Lord Shiva. When he came before, he requested Lord Shiva to live in his belly. When Lord Shiva did not return, Goddess Parvathi sought the help of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu dressed himself as a flutist and took along with him Nandi, the steed of Lord Shiva, Nandi was made to dance funny dances, in front of Gajamukhasura to the soulful music provided by Lord Vishnu (This type of bull dancing to the tune of music is still prevalent in South India). Gajamukhasura was pleased and gave a boon to Lord Vishnu, without knowing him who he is. Lord Vishnu requested him to release Lord Shiva. When Lord Shiva came out of his belly the asura died.

It was then Lord Shiva Promised Lord vishnu that he will Serve Lord Visnu in one of future Forms and will help Vishnu the same way he did for him now.

Dear Kaushik ji,

These below mentioned lines in your article made me write asking you to confirm whether as per you, Rama is the form of Shiva or Vishnu.

Parvati By Her yogic power understood that Lord Shiva got> > Connectedhimself with the 11th Form he is about to take, and also> wanted> > to know what was the greatness of this form that he lost even himself> > thinking about that Form.

Lord Shiva explains to parvathi every thing about the new form he is> > about to take and the greatness of that form

regards,

Bhaskar.

Namaste Kaushik ji

Thanks – re-reading what you had written in your earlier

email “When parvathi asks Lord Shiva why

he lost his conciousness, to which Lord shiva answers that no sooner he thought

about the 11th form his entire body got ignited with fire due to the rigid

ritualistic life his 11th form is about to take and His Shakthi(Power)grew

uncontrollable when he thought upon the Yogic Heights his next form is about to

attain, Tears of joy rolled down his eyes because of the devotion his future

form has on Lord Ram.” I can now follow your inference to

Hanuman ji …..

Regarding Shiv ji praying to Shri Rama ji

and vice versa understandable as unlikely a Shri Vishnu avatar is going to

worship himself or Brahma ji who supposedly took birth

from Shri Vishnu’s navel?

Thanks and regards …….

Bhaskar.

Dear Kaushik ji,

I do not wish to dishearten you, neither dampen your spirits, so please read this with a positive state of mind.

I know what is hapenning nowadays. There are many people who wish to look Spectacular , by talking something different- away- deviation from the known facts. Obviously you may not be from this fold of people, but likelihhod of being similiar persists somewhere in this whole thread.

There are many stories ( New ones - not authenticated and with no well known author who has written these ) floating around the Great Epics and the charatcters of these epics, which makes a man more confused rather turns him into a dis-believer instead of leading one towards developing faith and reverence.

For instance You say Hanumanji married. In your next postings you tell us not to think of that marriage as this and thus.

You first say that Shiva took the form of Rama. Next you say that he took the name of Rama.

You talk of " Tejas " as the glow of the Sun, which is in fact not the truth. But tejas is developed only due to Bramacharya and denial of the semen flowing freely and wantonly due to indulging in the sense plays. But you relate it to the Sun.

There are many such irregularities in your article which I do not have time to tread or explain to you, one by one. I was expecting these deviations, which is why I warned you in the beginning itself that no treading from the known facts must be done here.

You have also failed to mention the source of what all you have written.

Under such circumstances it is difficult for me to encourage this thread.

You have some explaining to do now.

best wishes,

Bhaskar.

As for tejas, don't we say surya ke TEJ ke samaksha koi tik nahi sakta.TEJA of brahmacharya is different fom this. TEJA of TAPASYA is also different. although literally it means the same, GLOW.I think TEJA actually means the satisfaction shown on the face which comes from attaining the deepest knowledge of something or anything, something where it is not easy to reach....where a common man or woman can never reach....TEJA comes when YOU are the MASTER of your mind ...through submissal ,thru penance ,through hardships, thru struggle...

As for reverend Hanumaanji being married even while being a BRAHMACHARI....as I have learnt thru the years ,though of course I have only very little knowledge as compared to you and the other reverend,WE CAN MOVE NEARER TO ATTAINING HIGHER KNOWLEDGE ONLY WITH A FLEXIBLE MIND....BY BEING RIGID ON A ViCHHAAR i think we block new knowledge to be dawned....BUT AT THE SAME TIME I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU THAT THE ARTICLE HAS TO BE AUTHENTIC....AND WITH PROOF OF THE SCRIPTURE...AND THE SOURCE... have to say...idon't mean to disregard you or any other learned man..but what all i said is only a humble suggestion...b'coz as we all know that even the great reverend SHRI SHANKRACHARYAJI had to enter another body to gain the kowledge of GRIHAST JEEVAN & STRI- PURUSH SAMBANDH & also as I read somewhere once ..to gain the knowledge about SEX ..when he was in SHASTRAARTHA ARGUEMENT with another learned pandit..YOU know better than me about this factual story...plz do correct me if I am wrong...--- On Tue, 12/16/08, Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish wrote:

Dear all,

I find it very strange that we get stuck to the fascinating parts in the

mythological texts for instance Ras Leela, kidnapping of women, 2nd

marriage, copulations etc, and now in this case, we are stuck up with

only discussion of marriage of Hanumanji.

This is a matter of great shame, that we cannot move forward beyond

discussing more about it, to titillate our base senses.

Now there is also a simple way to test ones Tejas daily which just takes

few seconds but this cannot be told unless one is shishya to a Guru, and

if I talk about it, it will be beyond the comprehensions of the present

posters, because they seem just stuck up with the Sun's glow or Teja as

attributing to Tejas, and nothing more, which is why I prefer not to

interfere but just be a silent reader, and have only interfered because

i do not wish to stain the forum with mention of marriage about a well

known Brahmachari

I have already requested Shri Kaushik ji to move ahead with his

commentary and article on Hanumanji, and hope that he is preparing some

good material for us to feast upon which will be expositions of glory of

Shri Hanumanji.
