Dear Naresh ji,

I appreciate your words and respect them. All this while I was allowing

all types of postings only because of a democratic set up which I wished

to pursue, but if it means an unnecessary exchange of mails and disturbs

conventional and orthodox minded traditional people like you and me, and

others like us who have strong beliefs in the rituals and customs and

the particular religious learnings we have been brought up with, then

its better to use the scissor or moderate.

Regards to usage of the word " Guru " I agree that it is being used troo

wantonly these days, and not even 1% all over the world qualify to that

word. But i have since few months stopped from asking people to addres

me as a " Guru " to save unnecessary exchanges. For me the word " Guru "

has a deep religious and auspicious significance and we may not be able

to reach that for the next few Life times, I doubt.

Same with the word " Astrologer " . Persons like me are far, much far

from the actual meaning of the word " astrologer " who gets up early in

Brahma muhurtha, follows yama and niyama and lives his Life particularly

and solely in ther way as per injunctions mentioned in the shastras.

People like me fall, too short of this word. But we have to use the word

with our names to denote our profession, otherwise I am hardly fitting

in that slot, strictly speaking. But you may find many astrologers

fitting that word in India, now whether they have astrological acumen in

predictions or not is a seperate matter and we have no definitions or

measure of scale for same.

Thanks for the honest revelations and clear talking.

regards,

Bhaskar.

you have still a long way to go in understanding the deeper and hidden

meanings in the writings of our great sages. What you have done, it

appears to me, is that you have taken the meanings literally, when all

our religious scriptures and writings have a hidden meaning. It is

better to try and read more about these before trying to speak or

comment on something. What I will suggest is that in case you have some

interesting point of view, on any subject about our religion, it will be

wise to send it to Bhaskarji on his personal id, to let him go

through it, and whereever necessary correct your understanding. He may

also guide you to some other reading material where you may find

something which gives you food for thought. This applies not only for

you, but to all members of the group. I am sure Bhaskarji will spare

some of his time, to act as a guide to us. I am not using the term

> " Guru " , for of late it has taken on a wrong meaning. Bhaskarji, this

is a humble request from me.

and in a manner which all may understand. He is very clear in his

concept of God and His various manifestations. He has refused to comment

on any aspect of our Lords, for fear that it may start a wrong

conversation and discussion, something which none of us here will want.

But yes, we will like a presentation on some aspects of our Lord's

deeds, which shows that He is all benevolent and merciful. This is seen

in the explanation to the Gajendra Moksha Strotam given by Tripuraji.

Why not you also keep yourself limited to that area. No controversies in

this.

only the half-learnt who try to speak the most in order to show that

they know more. The wise keep their counsel to themselves. An example is

our very own Tripuraji.
