Guest guest Posted March 1, 2009 Report Share Posted March 1, 2009 Dear all, I wish to make this Group a small Takshashilla University, where the best scholars are made, who will be Noble, and good men in their own right, and wherever they go in the world, would help those who come in contact with them, and make their lives happier. For this, I have some longterm plans like introducing courses on Jamini and also Nadi astrology. We already have a Jamini Teacher in between us, who is waiting for more students to join, and maybe I could persuade her to began the course within next 6 months. I also have in mind a person who is adept in nadi, and will be requesting him in this week, to prepare some Nadi lessons for us. In any case, if we dont have Teachers for these systems, I am always available to give you the start, and you may in time to come, after learning from here, and studying more on your own, lead me to the finish. best wishes, Bhaskar. I heard about nadi but Jamini is completely new for me. As i've started reading & grasping all you have given to us. Thanks for all your support. I do not believe in typing exhaustive copy paste Notes for one to mug up. I believe in less theory and more of application of principles, to lead one to actual predictive astrology. Otherwise one will become a old man with one foot in the grave, by the time one finishes reading a part of the abundant theory and literature available on innumerable resources. The theory part is of course very important and not to be dispensed with, but one must have the taste of the ice-cream , is what I believe in, before we make him sit with a paper pencil to jot down the recipes. So I do foresee some hindrances coming in the way, from over smart members who may not like me to directly impart the actual knowledge, and who are going to grill me for the theory and the parts which I am not taking yet. I was also reading the files uploaded on the group and with this occasion i want to thank also to Neelam Ji for her work. I am a practical person and very adaptable, because when i know my purpose i know how to put self effort. This is great if you will have the patience for practical applications. What i find difficult in Jyotish are the sanskrit terms, some i started to learn but i am only at the beginning. I can say i am glad you use that learning formulas, i also used that during my school time, but gladly i am not more quite a beginner in astrology... Anyway, congrats for this courses, and be sure i will follow until the end. Rao's 'Predicting through Jaimini's Chara Dasha' and found this branch of astrology quite interesting.
