Guest guest
Dear friends, This Quiz would be closed by next Friday evening so those who wish to participate may do so immediately. . I request Neelamji in the meanwhile to please inform the group whenever we are able to reach the count of First 3 Winners. I also intend to keep running these Quizzes as a regular feature on our Hindu Culture and Religion. This way we will be able to create some education on a constant basis on same and which will of course lead to upliftment of all participating and also non-participating members. Those who wish to sponsor the Prizes may do so. But remember that they would not receive any extra priviliges in the Group due to same. I mantain control on the Policies and managment of the Group and do not allow anybody to interfere in the same except to giving each member liberty to advise . But of course these sponsors will have a Folder in the Files section where their names would be mentioned and remain in the History of the group for having contributed to the spread of our Culture and religious understanding. In case there are no sponsors, yet no cause for worry, for I have already earmarked a sum from my own earnings for this purpose, till the Great lord and Real owner of this group. Lord Vishnu allows me to do so. best wishes, Bhaskar. , pareek_sp2007 wrote:>> > Respected Neelam Ji,> Please find below the answers of the quiz designed by you.> > I take this oppurtunity to thank you from core of my heart because while attemplting the quiz ,I got to learn many things related to our religion and culture. Please keep your good work continue.> > Thanks and Regards.> Sudhanshu Pareek > > --- On Wed, 25/3/09, Bhaskar bhaskar_jyotish wrote:> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Questions > > > > Which of these is not one of the Nav Durgas > > > > > > ( ) > > > Kalaratri > > > > ( ) > > > Katyayini > > > > (* )> > Kamakhya> > > ( )> > Kushmanda> > > > Which of these is not one of the 8 siddhis of Siddhidatri > > > > > ( )> > Garima> > > ( )> > Mahima> > > ( )> > Anima> > > ( *)> > Ishima> > > > Which weapon was given by Yamraj to Goddess Durga to fight Mahishasur > > > > > ( )> > Axe> > > (* )> > Rod> > > ( )> > Sword> > > ( )> > Thunderbolt> > > > Four of the Shakti peethas are located at these places in India : > > > > > ( )> > Tripura, Ubali, Kaalighat, Magadh> > > ( )> > Mithila, Jwalamukhi, Mansa, Mathura> > > ( )> > Karnat, Kanchi, Somnath, Magadh> > > (* )> > Kurukshetra, Varanasi , Madurai , Kaanchi> > > > The shakti peethas in Bangladesh are located at these places. > > > > > ( )> > Jayanti, Behalia, Kmarkhara, Jessore> > > ( *)> > Jessore, Jayanti, Chittagong , Sylhet> > > ( )> > Sylhet, Moishkhal, Behalia, Jessore> > > ( )> > Hidagari, Jayanti, Chittagong , Shibgunj> > > > Which is true about Devi Mahatmya. > > > > > ( )> > 70 shlokas in Sanskrit in Matsya Purana> > > ( *)> > 700 shlokas in Sanskrit in Markandeya Purana> > > ( )> > 700 shlokas in Prakrit in Markandeya Purana> > > ( )> > 7 shlokas in Pali in Bhagvat Purana > None of the above> > > > Lakshmi's emergence s connected with the Samudra Manthan.
