Dear Bhaskar Bhaiya:

Thanks for prompt reply. Happy to note contents. As you know I can write brief, to the point mails also. You are younger than me. In Bengal we call elder brothers Dada. You can address me as Bhaskar Da if you wish. I will address you as Bhaskar Bhaiya if you permit. Details & queries attached. Please take your time. If you have any queries I will be happy to answer same. To send you detailed Horoscope I need Address or Fax No. Noted you won't accept fees. Would have felt better if you did but I respect your right to decide. Thanks for agreeing to advise me. I am happy to gain you as a friend.

Regards,

Bhaskar Dutta Gupta

Bhai Bhaskar Dutta Gupta ji,HaHa. A good mail.Bhai I am a simple "Karmayogi" and a "majdoor" worker, and have no"samay" no "samajh" and no "taakat" to read such long mails written insuch "good" English.First let me come to the point. You must now straightaway give me thebirth details and the query, and not talk commercial with me at all. Iwould not be interested in accepting any Fees from your goodself.Next, all previous matters stand closed so let us not go back on them.Would just like to clear one point before I close . You mentioned -"Further, it is also within my knowledge that you frequently berateMembers for trying to elicit advice without paying for it / failing topay you after eliciting advice. Is it not so? "There is some faulty message or understanding here. I only berate thosemembers who keep coming with queries on their family members charts fromtime to time without any intentions of paying for the services of theastrologer. I think I am perfectly justified in such thinking andaction. I would not like my brothers and sisters on the Forum to justkeep picking up for free and not learn the art of mantaining "Selfrespect" neither giving value for the time one spends for them.Astrological Fees are not taken for some knowledge imparted, becauseKnowledge is valueless, it cannot be valued. Time certainly has got somevalue. The astrologers take their money only for the time they havespent on their charts .Anyways, I hope you shall now also become specific with your birthdetails and Query /Queries.By the way I am just 48 years old and a very young man, and it will takeanother 50 years for me to become old or elderly.best wishes,Bhaskar.P.S. Bhai Sahaab Kripya karke mujhe lambi mail mat bhejiyega abki. Shortand sweet would be welcome and comfortable. Nahi toh utna padhna phirjawaab dene mein mera keemti samay barbaad ho jaata hai. Kaun karegauska hisaab ? , Bhaskar Dutta Gupta<arundhuti_dg wrote:>> Respected Bhaskar ji:>> [A] I deeply regret that I have succeeded in offending you withoutintending to do so; that you find my attitude at fault. I am astoundedthat you read so much in what was essentially a little matter! I am 56.I imagine you are older than me. In any event, it behoves neither of usto continue in this vein! [Other Group Members are reading our repliesto each other.] I was under the impression that I have been mostrepectful while addressing you both.>> You made your point in your previous reply that my query is vague.I have also comprehended that you want to focus on Chart-specfic queriesonly; that you have no time for abstract / esoteric queries. It's aperfectly reasonable condition. I have no quarrel with you on thisscore. Very well, so be it. Trust this will mollify you.>> [C] Sir, let us, please, leave respected Neelam ji out of this. I willbe more than happy to correspond only with you.>> [D] I read a number of replies from you to other Members where youkeep reminding that Members are entitled to answer of only one queryfree of cost. For more than one query, the Member concerned must pay.Further, it is also within my knowledge that you frequently berateMembers for trying to elicit advice without paying for it / failing topay you after eliciting advice. Is it not so? Now, I have severalqueries and desire to pay. Therefore the question of your fees.>> [E] Sir, alas it is my misfortune that you should impute ulteriormotives. There are none. I feel helpless at being suspected of lackingtransparency / of disembling. I did not then, and do not now, wish totake advantage of your genorisity.>> [F] I am very happy to learn that you spend substantially [about Rs10,000/- p.m.] to help those less fortunate; that you are doing so sincemany years; that beyond the need to sustain your existence, you do notcovet money. It is magnanimous of you. In this Age of 'Each One ForHimself And Devil Take The Hindmost' it is laudable on your part. All inthe Group should respect you for this: you have already earned mine. Somuch for my attitude.>> [G] Beleagured as I am, I am in no position to look down on you, oranyone else, for that matter. I would not wish to. Aquarians rarely do.When you peruse my Chart and see for yourself, perhaps, you will thenbelieve me. The question of trying to impress you by offering to pay[you for taking the pain to study my Chart and suggest remedies] cannotand does not arise. If, inadvertently, I have apeared otherwise in myreply, please now graciously accept this clarification in good faith. Somuch for my attitude.>> [H] Besides, another Astrologer would not be impressed by my offeringto compensate him / her for professional services. On the contrary, he /she would expect to be compensated. Now, if I cannot expect to impressanother Astrologer by offering to compensate the individual concerned, Ifail to understand why I would expect to impress you, in particular, byoffering to compensate you [as you, by your own admission, also expectto be, (from others.)] Sir, I confess the logic eludes me.>> I requested the particulars as I did not save them then. [it sohappens I receive lot of mails in this ID and delete most afterattending to them to make space for incoming mails. Apparently so doyou.] You see, at that juncture I did not expect to refer to you foryour professional services. I shall consider it a favour if you verykindly condescend to study my Chart and advise me. But, as a matter ofprinciple, I must, insist, not for free. After all according to your ownadmission I am neither your enemy nor am I your friend. [but I am,indisputably, your namesake.] Why, then, should I, Bhaskar, seek /accept free service from Bhaskar ji? Again, so much for my attitude.>> [J] I will furnish details (again) & my queries once we are in accordand provided it is within Bhaskar's means to afford the services ofBhaskar ji. If not, I will forget this unhappy episoide. Sir, the choiceis yours. I conclude by once again apologising for offending you andhope you will accept above in good faith.>> With respectful regards & best wishes,>> Bhaskar DG: Your Namesake>> -> Bhaskar> > Wednesday, April 22, 2009 7:53 PM> Re: A question related to dietary....>>>>>>> Dear>> I am sorry for the rebuke, but believe me it has got only to do withyour, not being to the point or specific.>> I have many reasons for not being interested in allowing Neelamji toreply to astrological queries, one among them, that she does not doprofessional consultations, leading to members harassing her, membersasking for more, and she consequently referring me , for professionalreadings, which I am not comfortable with, the reasons for why, beinganother issue which is my personal problem.>> You mentioned in your last mail that you are reading the replies givenby me and Neelamji. Then you must have certainly read that I most of thetimes give a rejoinder to my replies mentioning clearly how much Icharge for professional Consultations and where to look for How to pay.I do not understand why are you asking this now if you say that you readall mails.>> Another point, I shall not accept your money for am not happy withyour approach. If you are trying to prove or show that you have been notreplied to your query because I am here for making you my customer,(Which is what the tone of your mail suggests), then you are highlymistakenly. I spend more than Rs.10000- on poor people everymonth,(doing this regularly for last 2 years and with a little reducedamount for last many years), and money has no great value or attractionfor me, apart from being a important necessity in Life for everyoneincluding me, but not more than that. I never compromise on principles, integrity and self respect. You can show that You can Pay, to some otherastrologer, but not me. I do not get impressed easily. And I demand whenI have to. In Your case I shall demand when I have to. I dont acceptDakshina, Charity or any such donations. I accept only the legitimateFees for services given, and clear the account on both>> Since I am offering a free reply to all as per my self madeinjunction, and you are no enemy to me, though not my friend, it wouldbe injustice on my part to charge you any Fees, unless you ask for morethan what is offered. Therefore I request you to please give me yourbirth details, and put a specific query rather than what you did before.>> I once again at the cost of sounding pompous wish to say that I am abusy person and have no time for Esoterics or commenting on hearsay ortalking about the weather, Life in general or what have you. This isonly when my mood is relaxed. While working I wish to be absolute onmark and on toes. Therefore when your query comes as what would Saturngive when retrograde in Lagna , at the stage where I am in , inastrology this does not sound tangible, specific, or make sense to me.This is like saying to the Doctor that I am not feeling well. I need toknow the full details before I comment, which is why I got perturbed bythe mail and the response you received was due to this.>> I shall wait for your birth details. And as mentioned at the start ofthis reply, I once again apologise for having hurt you.>> best wishes,> Bhaskar.>>>>>>>> , Bhaskar Dutta Guptaarundhuti_dg@ wrote:> >> > Respected Bhaskar ji:> >> > Not being knowledgeable, I could not frame the query properly.
