They are not going to earn for us, or prepare our lunch for us, and sit with us for dinner. I remember reading an event in Readers' Digest that happened in U.S. A long abandoned house was occupied by a new tenant, duly cleaned, furnished..etc. At a specific time, the housewife heard a knock on the door and on opening found none there. Soon afterwards she found the utensils from the kitchen flying through the window as if physically thrown out. the event repeated the next day exactly at the same time in the presence of the husband. The Mayor and Police were called and the incident repeated exactly the same manner with more ferocity!! Mayor declared the house haunted and unfit for residence. there are hundreds of such incidents even in 21st. Century. Guest guest Posted May 14, 2009 Report Share Posted May 14, 2009 We all are souls gifted with the body, and these spirits can overpower us only in the condition when we (the soul) become weaker then those spirits. therefore strengthen the powers of your own soul by practising brahmacharya, worship, sadhna, yoga and so many good ways. when the power of our atma is increased sufficiently to match the frequency of the paramatma there will occur resonance (analogus to the rules of physics), one can say atma sakshatkar. and our existence will be assimilated into the supreme (God).
