I know of many people with Jupiter in 5th who had children and with venus in 7th who are happilly married for many years. I also know many people for whom Jupiter in transit aspected the 7th house but who never got married. Jupiter, not being retrograde, and in 5th and with good combination could also produce just one child for a scorpio or Leo Lagna, but such a child dies in alpayu ( before 30) or gets separated from the concerned parent for very long periods during childhood due to posting at a faraway place or due to separation on account of divorce, extreme ill health, heavy addiction to drugs,.having another spouse etc. etc.. In effect, a child if born does not enjoy the love of the concerned parent till the age of 15 or 20. That is the case of the guy/man with the 7th lord and karak Venus sitting in the 7th (being taurus or Libra sign) and otherwise well fortified due to strong Lagnesh and the benevolent aspect of Jupiter or Moon. While for the world, he would be called the perfect husband by his neighbours, friends and far relatives, he would be having very inimical relations with his wife either mentally, emotionallly or physically. So, such a situation is just like having no wife bereft of her love. Some commentators have taken pains to explain it.Bhav-Bhavesh-Karak is the tripod on which we base the results of any house. If one is afflicted, part results are affected, if two of these are afflicted a large part is gone and if all three are afflicted, we can predict a major loss regardig that bhava. (broadly) If the karak is in the bhav, 66 per cent stake is placed together and any malefic influence afflicts both together. And if per chance, bhavesh is the same, or placed along with karak and the bhava has malefic influence, the bhava is doomed. It is like putting your eggs in one basket. It will be very rare that bhava and karak together remain free from affliction. But if that happens, be rest assured that karak will never become Bhava Nashak.
