Never stand for a third party guarantee for any loans advanced, even by banks. 3. Do not sign any papers unless you have read them fully and properly. 4. The laws do not distint between honest intentions and cheats, but goes only by written stipulations. I have known several cases of people whose life was totally ruined due to innocent and helpful acts, who have stood as guarantor under the advice of a bank Manager who disappear in course of time and only papers speak!! Change your lawyer immediately and pay his fees whatever he asks. You will be saved from jail or paying up the cheque amount. There is no jail or conviction for any legal case in the present period at least for next 2 years. Hire a new lawyer and file a case instead on them. You will win, I guarantee you.
