Guest guest Posted July 9, 2009 Report Share Posted July 9, 2009 Dear all, Although there is no reference in shastra for what i am going to write, but these are my thoughts and understanding about eclipse, which i want to share with you. you may agree or not. Manas is represented by Chandra and Atman is represented by Surya, and whenever manas and atman of a person align perfectly at some target or point the result is Samadhi. During eclipse, cosmic representatives of manas and atman come in perfect alignment from the point of earth where the eclipse is visible, therefore it is analogical to samadhi, and that is why eclipse is so important spiritually, and for sadhana. mantra siddhi become easy during this period. It was a logical answer of my mind to my query that why eclipse is so effective from sadhana point of view. I welcome your views and thoughts on this issue.
