Rtrogression-yes!retrograde saturn has the power to pull down one gradually to a pitiable state of affairs .according to SARAVALI ,the period of a retrograde planet rotates a man even as the pot-maker rotates his wheel and brings about agony and enemies. But when it comes to the question of what is in store during the dasa of saturn in retrogression ,all the strength that he asssumes is translated into a sad tale of misfortune. Now my question is sir, A planet in retrogression is identical in power with his placement in the sign of exaltion.That is how Uttrakalamrita exola a retrograde planet. As regards retrograde saturn if it sits in an upchayasthan like 11h has aspect of benefic planets like Jup,Ven or Jup still this saturn will follow what has been quoted above? My Rashi and Lagna Lord Venus is also exalted. During Mahadasha of Saturn initial 2 years I was bestowed fame and wealth but thereafter for next 3 years I fell fell and fell. From 6th year my fortunes started mending but very slowly. Mahadasha ended in 2004. A month before that I suffered a grievious blow. The 3rd and the 9th stand for movement, long voyages, also Dharmic activities. Also stands for agriculture, property matters -inherited etc. The 10th stands for Business achievements or enterprises. It is as simple astrology as this. Regards to Retrogression of Saturn it is not going to effect the results, but only the timgs of the results. For insdtance you will get the positive results of Saturn only when Saturn actually transits retrograde in Gochar, supplementimng your Natal retro Saturn. Again simple astrology, but people all over I find quote hundreds of shlokas, interpretations, but cannot predict when asked to, a simple Line of what could be the effects. Lack of study by the present breed of astrologers, wanting to teach what little they have learnt, copy pasting articles to display knowledge (Borrowed) is all which brings down the levels of their learning.Originality is missing. Homework is missing. Analysis of practical case studies is missing.
