The interesting thing is that once these transit difficulties are relieved, he is likely to have some astounding successes. There will be some challenges for him when Jupiter transits Scorpio, however. He is running the main and sub-period of strong L3 Mercury, who is closely conjunct the MEP of the 1st house until October 2008. It is my opinion that President Bush will end his presidency with power, prowess, and success. His image domestically and abroad will be on the mend. Ultimate success in Iraq seems possible as well. It was a cause for concern for most of the international community, not just for President Bush and the USA. His main and sub-period lord Mercury are under the exact affliction of MMP Saturn. This is the main reason for any present concern. This will last until July 21st, but the most intense affliction passed just yesterday. Between now and then, the severity of this will wane. As for your points earlier on, the MEP of his ascendant and 3rd house are not suffering from any relevant affliction from transit Saturn at this time. Natal Moon and Mercury are strong. Jupiter's influence on the MEP of the 4th, 10th, 12th and 8th houses still remains effective to some extent. The weaknesses of natal Venus, Mars, and Saturn would be reason for this allowance.
