Guest guest
Dear Bhaskarji, Namaste. This is a very well written piece of work reflecting todays obsession with material things.. We give value to material assests and often overlook the invalable treasure we have in health and relationships.. warmest regards Sheevani , " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > > While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up > > stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskarji, It is indeed a sad state of affairs that the world is preoccupied with the rat race and status crown.. Little do they know,, it is a crown of thorns.. I cant speak of others, but I know that from the day I decided to quit the rat-race in favour of quality of life with my family,, I have never looked back. I worked fulltime for more than 25 years, cared for my family and also looking after and managing the household, and having a side business too.. all became too much,, life was rushing by, my kids were teenagers them, and if I didnt make time for them at this stage,, I might loose the opportunity forever,, as when they become young adults they will be fully capable of looking after themselves.. I dont miss having the regular paycheck at the end of the month, and truthfully it didnt make vast difference either, but the wealth and quality of my life improved vastly enriched by my being able to direct more time to my loved ones and helping others whenever the opportunty arose. I try to make each day count.. jane kab zindagi ke shaam ho jaye, kuch waqt apne Ganshaam Murliwale ke naam bhi ho.. warmest regards Sheevani , " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > > Dear Sheevaniji, > > Yes there is a Exodus of human values, in relationships and the warmth > is missing these days. > > Even at other places if you give people a Seat of Importance, then they > will contribute, otherwise they are not willing to contribute, shows the > receding value of service to society but an obssession for self, My > selfish ends and my advantage.
