Guest guest
Primarily there shpould be an affliction to the 4th house in order for one to take Sanyasa, and the involvement of the 12th house predominantly for one to leave the material and go for " Spiritual " . Guest guest
Dear Friend, Exaltation is in a sign ruled by a planet at specific degrees.Retrogression is always with reference to proximity of the palnets to sun.Sun of course is most powerful undoubtedly. All other palnets visually loose track retrograde, pause and change velocity of movements as mentioned in Astronomy. To some extent if lagna and 12th join together the native will be matured to understand his own perspective.when jupiter is involved he carries wisdom..Definitely exalted at a point in a sign is correct. One single person cannot experience all these rules in the various charts one studies in his Life time. Guest guest
For those who have come to finished incomplete spiritual life, I have seen Sun to be strong among good placements of Jup and Saturn. Pls understand the words properly. These souls start their spiritual life early and make significant progress or finish their Journey. What is the difference between these and the other people who too have powerful sanyas or spiritual yogas - this is their journey of completion whereas the others may be at the start or in various stages of their journey.Crucial difference but important. Guest guest
Margaret, very coorect point !  When 12'th lord being benefic (Ju,Ve), becomes exalted and also become Rashi Vargottama in D-9. Native gets Moksha. But one more condition is added up that is, it should be in angle or Kona not in 3, 6, 8, 12.  I have seen ppl of above combination, very very nice to human beings and even to animals and ants(Beautifull minds). But second house should also be very very benefic by having Ju or Ve or its aspect over there.  It is obvious thing Ju should not be corrupted by being debilitated in the chart.  Many ancient classics says same. I can pour atleast 20 slokas from ancient classics.  Ke in 12'th blocks Moksha and native also dissipates the ancient culture. Many many Ancient theory says same.  But due to no knowledge, some astrologers propogated wrong theories as they pun stories in their mind and corrupts ancient concepts.  Pawan --- On Fri, 5/2/10, Marg <margie9 wrote: Marg <margie9 Re: Re: Self Realisation Friday, 5 February, 2010, 8:22 AM  I think Parasara refers to exalted planets in twelfth house for realisation and liberation, especially benefics. - pradeep0890 Friday, February 05, 2010 5:35 AM Re: Self Realisation I read an article that if the 1st and 12th House lords are exalted, that person becomes a Jeevan mukta. Guest guest
Dear Pawan Here are a few verses that speak of enlightenment. I'm happy to include one at least which refers to avashthas, which I use in all my readings, as not many astrologers make good use of this aspect of astrology: from Parasara If Mercury is in Sabh Avastha and happens to be in exaltation, the native will be affluent and meritorious at all times; he will be equal to Kuber (the lord of wealth); or he will be a king or a minister; he will be devoted to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva; he will be virtuous and will attain full enlightenment. One will attain full enlightenment if Ketu is in the 12th (from Karakamsh) identical with Aries or Sagittarius and receives a aspect from a benefic. ch 33 sl 63-65 10. If there is a benefic in the 12th, while its lord is exalted or is conjunct with or receives a aspect from a benefic, one will attain final emancipation.Ch 23 And in Pisces Navamsha the Atma Karaka win grant final emancipation.ch33 From Horasara: ch 26 53. Should Jupiter be at the end of Ascendant or if the Sun is in Ascendant owned by Jupiter, the native will attain final emancipation i.e. the Lord's Lotus Feet. cheers M - Astro Talk Friday, February 05, 2010 10:28 AM Re: Self Realisation Margaret, very coorect point ! Guest guest
ॠगà¥à¤°à¤µà¥‡ नमःDear Pradeep, Namaste. The most important criteria is the JÄ«vanamuktÄá¹Å›a. This is the twelfth house from Atmakaraka in the Navamsa. This has to support moksha otherwise it will not happen. Often this is accentuated in the charts of highly spiritual people. Do read about ParaÅ›ara's criteria in the chapter on Karakamsha.
