Dearest Friends:

 

 

 

Last night I retired and awoke with this refrain flowing to

my brain. " I and God are One… & Finding God. " Actually,

I've been thinking of this for a few months, now. But, this am the

strong resolve came to create a group for those seriously interested in

Finding God.

 

So, here we are. Please join me in this group, all those

sincere seekers of Truth that are seriously interested in finding God in

this life; in even the next 1, 2 or 5 years.

 

This group will help you find God!

 

 

 

In this group we will study the most important features of

" How To Find God. " There are two main aspects to this study.

#1 we each needs to direcly experience God. " The key to

spirituality is the direct experience of God. " Said a small,

obscure book I read years ago called " How to Know God. " by

Patanjali. Now, that's a book I thought I should read!, I said.

 

 

I tore it open and flooded though the pages until I came

upon this passage: " the key to spirituality is the direct

experience of God. "

 

My reaction was: " nobody ever told me God could be

experienced. " This was in 1970 and I was only 20 years old. Much

of my early life had been spent thinking and pondering about God.

I'm sure I drove both my parents and family Church priest nuts with

my incessant questions.

 

When, I found that book my search immediately changed. All

of a sudden I began searching for ways in which to experience God. Did

you know that there were many, many Christian saints who talked about

their experiences of Oneness with God? Later, of course, I was to find

many wonderful examples of Indian saints who talked about their direct

experiences of God, as well.

 

I wonder why no one in my church told ever tell me about

that? Didn't they know I wanted to know, too? So, I began

searching and within a few short months I had discovered meditation. In

US colleges in the late 60's and early 70's, East Indian or

Vedic mediation was everywhere.

 

In the next two years I went through two such meditations

and found myself awakening to the direct experience of consciousness or

Being. That was to change my life.

 

Within a year I had my first experience of God. I was

totally not prepared for this experience. Actually, I probably was.

One of my earliest Gurus, in fact, had said: " When you experience

God, the form that is dearest to you is the form that will come to

you. " Though, I hadn't heard so far.

 

One day and early in the am I lay down to sleep. I was in

college and was away from home for the very first time. I missed my

mother in Chicago very much. I awoke. I'd just had a dream of

mother. " Ahhh, it felt soooo good. " Gone was the worry, the

anxiety….the sense of separation. My mother had come. She was

seated on a coach and lightly patting my head.

 

All worry and sense of loss were gone. She was lightly

stroking my hair and I just knew. Then, I began to think: " But,

she didn't look like my mother in Chicago. " All of a sudden it

came to me, like a ton of angel bricks falling from the sky. " She

didn't look like my mother in Chicago. In fact, ….

She's…she's my (and here I didn't even have a word for

it….) She's, what can I call her,….she's…. my

God….Mother! "

 

At this moment I knew that God, my God,..the father God that

I always had known, was now, also my Mother. No one ever told me God

was a Mother, too! But, now, I knew. And, this was way before I ever

heard anyone describe the term Mother Divine.

 

But, I didn't just hear about her. I experienced her!

And, I knew. I just knew that she was real and that she was my God,

Mother! Fascinating, that this was my first concrete, spontaneous,

consciousness experience of God and it wasn't an experience of God

as Father.

 

 

 

I always just assumed God was a He!

 

 

 

SI was shocked to find that He,…was also a She!

 

 

 

Suffice it to say, this experience too changed my life.

From that very moment I my search to find God quickened. God had now

come to me and let me know I was a worthy son. I now had the confidence

to go ahead.

 

All my earliest doubts and disbeliefs were suddenly gone. I

may not yet be God realized but no one could tell me that God didn't

exist! I, now, knew this for a fact!

 

If you have a similar desire like mine to truly find God

I'm interested in talking to you.

 

I'm looking for a few choice, individuals who also want

to find God in this life.

 

I'm going to share with you the two main features of

knowledge that I have learned that helped me in my quest to find God.

 

 

 

#1 Meditation.

 

 

 

The key to finding God is the direct experience of God.

Ever day, regular, consistent experiences of God, within.

 

 

 

#2 Jyotish or Astrology represents the most wonderful,

perfect knowledge to help any individual understand their own personal

path to God. Contained within each one of our charts is a specific and

precise description of our personal path to God realization.

 

 

 

Contained within our charts is a declaration of not only who

we are but what specific ways that we should flow to find the

fulfillment of our dreams and desires. There are strengths which

Jyotish calls our Benefices. These represent the good abilities and

talents that we have.

 

There are also clear descriptions of certain patterns or

habits that are negative and unproductive along our paths. These are

our weaknesses and are called our malefics.

 

The first Astrological suggestion I'll make for everyone

is that you get more Saturn control over your life.

 

If you are fighting against Saturn then you will undermine

your very own desire and dream to find God.

 

Saturn represents how much rest and silence we have and need

in life. If you're not getting enough rest then you'll create

tiredness, fatigue and lethargy in the body, mind and soul. For all my

Astrology students one of the first things I tell them is: " To be

more in-tune with your Saturn, rest. "

 

If you go to bed early, wake up fresh, then you have the

best chance of evolving quickly to experience God.

 

If you're however, tired, fatigued and stressed then God

will undoubtedly not be found? Why?

 

Because God exists in our pure silence. Actually, God

exists everywhere. But, when we're tired and stressed our human

nervous system's rarely give us the direct experience of God.

 

But, the moment we release our stress. The very moment that

fatigue and stress go; God will be found!

 

 

 

In this group we're going to study every aspect of God.

We'll study Him, Her intellectually. Even before we have the direct

experience we can become more clear as to what God must be like

intellectually.

 

It's very fulfilling to learn that God is infinite. God

is unbounded, eternal and limitless. God is infinite and he, she is

also in the finite!

 

Then, we will study and reflect on God emotionally. God can

be felt, believed in, have faith about and be devoted to.

 

Both these paths should be enjoyed for their ability to help

us understand God better.

 

But, quickly, as early as today, you too should start

meditating to find God. The key to God realization is the personal,

human experience of turning the attention inwards and having the direct

experience of God.

 

It's not hard. In fact it's the easiest thing you

will ever do!

 

So, why has it been so hard to do for so long and for so

many?

 

Because there's a slight trick to it. We're so used

to thinking in an outward direction that experience of an inward nature

seems foreign to us. We're so used to thinking in an outward way

that we only know how to do, to accomplish and achieve my doing!

 

The whole world is following today the Mars approach to

fulfillment of desire. This approach teaches us to achieve through Mars

doing and actions.

 

The key to God however, the key to direct, actual, personal

experience of God is turning the mind, awareness inside and experiencing

God by doing less and less.

 

The key to direct experiences of God lies in the planet of

Saturn. Saturn is the planet of silence. Through increasing silence

God can easily be found.

 

Because God is the internal reality of our own, very selves.

 

We don't have to travel anywhere, convince anyone or

become a better human being to know God!

 

We only have to look within and have the direct experience

of our own Higher, pure Self…and there, deep inside…in the very

heart of ourselves…we will find God.

 

When we go within and fathom deeper and deeper levels of our

own Self, we will transcend the narrow limitations and definitions of

our individuality and going beyond, experience the true nature of our

selves!

 

This is God….

 

We and God are One…

 

Each one of us only needs to experience this for ourselves.

 

With each direct experience of this the confidence and

clarity of that knowingness comes to us.

Guru is not to be confused with God. Guru can help us find God. Guru

can help us with all the handicaps and obstacles that prevent us from

discovering on our own.

 

The very moment that you find your own, true God, your own

The path to God is like this trusty boat that's carrying

us across the rapids. We move, paddle, drift, and move across the water

till the other shore is gained! The very moment we land our boat and

find our home, then the boat is not needed any more.
