Guest guest
I haven't been following this thread very closely but here is a site that is discussing the connection between appearance and astrology: http://www.astrofaces.com/astrofaces/ Apologies if it's been posted already. Chris Sari Metsovuori <gerdapp wrote: Hello Dark Star, sorry, typing error. I was talking about ADB of course. According to the database, Skinner was born in March 30, 1904, but you're right, when I checked it out on the internet, everywhere they say that he was born in 20th March. Strange. But he seems to have Saturn alone on the Capricorn ascendant with the 20th March date too. (BTW, look at the Piscean emphasis on his chart!) Guest guest
Hello Mr. Murthy, Yes, Saturn is benefic for those born in Capricorn and Aquarius ascendants. For Virgo ascendant Saturn is a functional malefic planet. When placed in the ninth house it causes problems to and conflicts with father, elder brothers and younger brothers. It causes problems in the sources of income and business losses/disputes. Guest guest
No, Mr. Paulo. Guest guest
Hi Paulo, Saturn is only a functional malefic for Pisces, Virgo and Cancer. It is a functional benefic for all other ascendants. In your case, a Taurus rising, Saturn is especially benefic, so this dasha should be a good one for you. Best wishes, VSW. - " woodwater1000 " <woodwater1000 Wednesday, October 18, 2006 12:13 PM Saturn > Hi sir > > If Saturn is benefic only for those with capricorn and Aquarius rising > shouldnt travel to west be bad for me in Saturn dasha? > > thanks > Paulo > > > > > >

Guest guest
Hello Paulo, [Taurus 9:40) Your case is a simple one: (assuming that your TOB is accurate) FB Saturn and Mercury are close in H9 and Sa is exactly on the MEP. These are the reasons why the mid 90's were good to you. In the beginning of '99 Ke transited H9 and then H8 in the years to come. In these years you were running the Ke and Venus periods. Now to understand results of the sub period results, we analyze the strength, and nature of the planets. FMs Mars and Venus, and FB Sun and FM Venus form close associations in H8. The significations of all of these planets do not flourish because of the bad placement, especially in the material sphere because of close association and bad placement. The weakness here is also the reason for your lack of stability in relationships. FB Moon and aspects to its MTH by Sa and Me help to a great extent. FMs Ju and Ke are well placed in H9 and are just outside the 5 degree orb. I am not certain at what age the impact of this orb of 6 degrees will be felt, but the logic of proportion applied, it should have been effective after 30. Perhaps the good Professor can please clarify. In your case, if you focus on spiritual life, there can be good gains and dilution of the ill effects here. Sa, Me and Mo, and Ra sub periods are comparatively better. Ju and Ke subs can see better results of spiritual life is focused on. Ma, Ve and Su periods are challenging. Strengthen your benefic planets and follow the Professor's recommendations for propitiation and direction. With what you have said, Sa-Me in H9 and Mo on MEP H10 can eventually connect your profession with teaching, especially in the technology area. Guest guest
Hello Mr. Singh, Saturn, when a functional benefic, does not cause harm while in any of the houses, during its transit. However, when in 6th, 8th or 12th houses to the natal ascendant, (i) it fails to bestow significations ruled by it, (ii) it fails to protect its own significations. When Saturn is a functional malefic, it causes harm in all houses when coming into close conjunction/ aspects with natal position of planets. However, the traditional theory of Sade sati, Dhaiya, etc. does not hold good in the scientific study. This is, perhaps, the easiest way of convincing oneself that he has found out the reasons for sufferings of the persons coming for astrological advice. In fact we have to see the functional nature of Saturn with reference to the ascendant. If Saturn is a functional benefic, it would bestow good results while in the ascendant and the second house. While transiting twelfth house, such a benefic Saturn, and at the same time its sub-period being in operation, it will not produce bad results but its capacity to do good will be restricted due to weakness attained by transiting the twelfth house. Assessment of sub-periods of planets after due consideration to the strength of the planets in transit in relation to natal positions prove more meaningful. As per the 'Systems Approach', Saturn is a functional malefic for Virgo, Cancer and Pisces ascendants only. Therefore, the mal-effects of transiting Saturn are felt by the natives who have any of these signs as an ascendant. As already indicated, the results are only to be analyzed with reference to the ascendant. Moreover, unfavorable results are not felt throughout the period for seven and a half years when transit Saturn is in twelfth, first or second houses. The mal-effects would be felt only when it forms conjunction with the mid-points of the twelfth, first and second houses and when it forms exact/close conjunction/aspects, with weak natal planets. Barring the period of transit conjunctions/aspects, the rest of the period of seven and a half years or dhaiya would be as per the trends set by the main period lord, sub-period lords, the strength of sub-period lords and transit influence of other planets. Guest guest
Dear satish,Please read the last chapter of the Part 1, " Astrosecrets and KP by MP Shanmukham. In the last few pages of this book and chapter, the author explains about the dhana, labha and nidhi lords and their effect on the 10th, your occupation. It is not just the strength of Lagna Lord that matters, but also all the above that matters in defining the strength of a horoscope from very very high to very very low levels. However the position of the badhak is considered for ascertaining the lower levels of strength. In your case may be the badhak Saturn is connected with the lagna but not with 2nd and the 10th which is considered as very very bad for a persons occupation.Though Saturn is the lord of the 10th, if you check your horoscope, Saturn may not be in the star of saturn thus losing the signification of the 10th house. I am response/ corrections from KP stalwarts. Guest guest
Dear Satish, Your chart can have a 1/100 or 1/200 effect in a research depending on minimum size of the sample and as presented is not helpful for KP analysis.
