About insurances and worldly stuff and such ...

Dear All,

 

Many moons and suns, heck even many jupiters ago, my car hit a snow-

bank! The thud was painful but more importantly because at that

moment, I was trying to get somewhere important in a hurry!

 

Moments like these in newage spiritual awakenings are called, umm,

err... awakenings!

 

I did not write a book or sing into a CD about my epiphany arising

out of that experience (I think I did see an army of Angels marching

forth but now not sure!), but I did fill up a few forms pleading that

I was not at fault. Thanks to the kind and gentle framework of the

city in the Prairies that I had this mishap, it was deemed as a 'no

fault' accident. My insurance premium did not go up and I only had to

pay the deductible! That car got totalled many years later by someone

else's fault, but that is neither here nor there!!

 

Only a decade or two later and a different province, insurance

regulations have tightened up a lot! According to current decree, I

should not have been driving that morning but taking public transit

and saving myself all the grief and saving the environement my smog

at the same time! How fickle can the world get over a short period of

time! SHEESH!!

 

Interestingly, I re-live the experience when I open an ancient

classic in Jyotish! It seems that the rules have changed even as the

times have too! Insurance rules seem to had been simpler when the

jyotish LAW was originally written! If you catch my drift (if there

is a drift;-)!

 

Only one Insurer existed back then: Dharma owned by someone named

Bhagwan. BUT now? There have sprung up so many insurance companies

and agents many with the same last name: Bhagwan, or SWAMI and to

such extent that even the most zoned-out beatific consumers have been

caught grumbling and griping about " Too many telemarketers jee when I

am trying to do my evening meditation or sitting down to have dinner

with my family... "

 

While I am all for competitive markets and better prices for my

worldly goods and so on, when it comes to Insuring my Soul, for some

reason -- call it immature intuition, I feel safer when signing up

with the Insurance Agent that has the least personal interest in

seeing me line up for yet another insurance term known as earthly

life or as some call it: Human Experience! AND you all know WHO that

is!

 

If any of you think that what I wrote above had nothing to do with

astrology or , please tell me where did I go wrong! ;-

)

 

Trust me it is not a Trick!
