In technical terms, Saturn is weak due to being in retrograde motion and having low bindus in the ashtakavarga. However, Parasara states that the evils in the chart can be mitigated due to the presence of benefic planets in kendras from the lagna. Fortunately for you, Venus and Mars (lagna lord) are located in the 4th house. Also, an exalted Moon is located in the second house. So, there are planets that are protecting you from any negativities that may arise from a weak Saturn. Further, an ancient jyotishi opines that the dispositor of the planet in question (Saturn) should be analyzed in the navamsha chart to understand its role in the person's life. In this case, Saturn is in the 12th house in the navamsha. This could very well mean that the negativity in the rashi chart can be mitigated by performing works relating to charity or moksha. As such, to improve the overall effects of Saturn during its period, you must share your wealth and time by giving to your local temple or church. You should include giving to organizations which are helping people in need or poverty. For your information, the period of Saturn will last until May, 2022. But the retrograde is spoiling the party is it? OK. So be it. What about my Mercury, Jupiter and Sun, what are they doing for me John ji.
