Dear Bhaskarji,

Hi, this is Janet. I think my questions about Karkotak Kaalsarpa yoga

and Grahi Maitri were too convoluted and confusing and I got lost in

the shuffle. I ask to start again. I am 9 yr yogini and 18 yr

meditator of american descent who loves everything indian, including a

man in Bombay.

Girl Birth Detail:

April 20th, 1970 0826 AM Eastern standard time (+5 GMT maybe? not sure)

Charleston, South Carolina USA

Boy Birth Detail:

June 22, 1964 1700 PM (5 o'clock) (-5:30 GMT, You know best)

Bombay, Maharastra, India

I was informed he is hot tempered Anuradha Nakshatra with Karkotak

Kaalsarpa yoga, and 7th house Mangali.

According to this, our Grahi Maitri is 0.5 out of 5. My nakshatra is

Hasta. I am 12th house Mangali I do believe, though have also been

told 1st house Mangali. Depends on the house system used.

I am undertaking 2 lakh of 3 mantras (one mala each) per day for

mercury, saturn, and sun afflictions. I understand he also has sun

affliction. Also doing lots of Hanuman Chalisa when I can on Tue and

Sat. Taken Monday vrata lifelong. Is there anything I can do on my

end to help his condition, or can you suggest anything he can

undertake himself? I do not think he is willing to go to pandit, he

is wary of hypocrisy and has seen many ppl pay for pujas, homams,

despite committing harmful karmas to those less fortunate.

Any recommendations you have for us is helpful. Many things keeping

us separate for the time being. I graduate my bachelor's program in

June and will have a career. I have 3 children so making the right

choice is of extreme importance and any opinion you have regarding

this union would be greatly appreciated. I am amazed at the accuracy

and subtleties of vedic astrology and have a great respect for this art.

I will refer to your files but will wait for your word to undertake

upayas or write suggestions to him.

Namaste,

Janet

Dear Janet,

Hello.

Noted the contents of Your mail.

But perhaps I have not understood the intent

properly.

You mentioned you have 3 children ?

Through whom ? Obviously a husband.

Where is he ?

What happened to that marriage ?

Also I understand that you wish to marry this

boy (Man) in Bombay ???

I am not into horoscope Matchings on the

Forum, and do it only on Paid Consultations

as it involves lots of time and concentrated

study hours, but I shall make an

exception to your case, since you are

a guest to India, and we are broad hearted people

ready to help with whatever we have.

But be sure that my scales of judgemen are too high

for horoscope matchings and I may be very blunt at

times to your disliking, when the match does not meet

my standards, so be ready for the same, if you

are looking for match making srvices.

In the meanwhile come out clearly with what is

required and the previous state of affairs.

It is good to know that you are into meditation..

Regards to " Yogini " thats a too loosely used word

in the west. For me the Yogi is the Man, and Yogini is

the female counterpart. And The Yogi and Yogini

are both too high on spiritual levels, and can

reach the places where the " Bhogi " (materialistic)

cannot. And such people are rarely met by common people

and when someone meets them, they can be pretty sure

that Yogis can see through past 20-750 Lives of

Birth, of the native they meet.

Hope You get my point as regards to " Yogini " .

I will await your answers for my other queries.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Dear Bhaskarji,

Pranams and thank you for thinking of me. My life has been

exceedingly complicated. With Ketu in 4th house and Rahu in 10th

house and sun in 11th house there was extreme hardship in my youth

with no role modeling as to motherhood role as father never married

my mother. I was married May 25th 1991 to a man who committed

assault with vehicle against me and my 2 infants, tried to push car,

hitting it with his van, into big intersection, hauled away to jail

on the spot. Hence union #1 ended violently and abruptly. Marriage

#2 February 14th 1998 to man who was publicly accused in a busy store

of inappropriate physical contact with my 13 yr old daughter, left

immediately to shelter and was homeless October'06 thru June '07 with

3 children. Managed to go to school throughout. Divorcing as abuse

of a child is not acceptable. Papers to be signed away shortly. My

Shree Lagna is in Yama I think. Doomed to be with wrong man. I hope

not. Currently I am undertaking many remedies on my own as I will

graduate bachelor's in nursing this June and cannot afford much to

gain priestly help. I do believe mantra in kaliyuga is very

efficacious and been chanting a lot 3 malas each day at least, one

for merc (visnu), one for saturn (siva), one for sun (aaditya). Also

vegetarian and practicing austerity with reasonable restraint (not

going overboard).

My proper union with one who will cherish me and the children is

paramount. I do not want to make another bad choice. Other aspects

going well, will graduate with honors from a prestigious institution

that has given me full scholarship for grades and circumstance. I'll

have a good career very soon, but my sadhana is very important as I

am committed to correcting my problem with decision-making. Sani

sadesati should lift Dec 08 I think.

When I say yogini I do not take this lightly. My dream is to go to

Kriya Yoga seminary after graduating BSN program. My heart is of a

philosopher and a scholar, then bhakti came from years of immersing

myself in studies and practices guided by guru in NJ and in

Chandigarh. Been planning seminary for last 5 years, but had to get

my vocation in alignment first. My calling will come after I become

able to support my children and am self sufficient.

As an american, I am a very forthright person and your bluntness will

not be taken as an insult. I strive to rise above aversion and

desire and to be neutral. Don't always succeed, but this is my

chance to practice what I preach.

Again, I know you are a busy man. My life is in a fragile and

transitory state now and your consideration will be taken humbly and

seriously. Thank you, Bhaskarji.

Dear Bhaskarji,

My story must have been shocking. I do wish to marry a man in Bombay

this summer or fall. The suffering in my life thus far would have

killed many off completely, but my yoga and meditation practice have

saved me. The ends to my prior 2 marriages were unavoidable, to say

the least. I am a very loyal and faithful person, and, had karma not

intervened, I may still be in one of these 2 disasterous unions. I am

not a person who takes committment loosely or would leave unless the

gravest circumstances had arrived.

Male birth detail:

22 June 1964 1700 (5pm) Bombay, Maharastra

Female birth detail:

20 April 1970 0826 (8:26am) Charleston, South Carolina, USA

I do keep up with the emails flying back and forth and am learning.

I would like a new life and to move away from the state where I've

lived all my life because a new vibration and environment would help me

shed my skin and make a fresh start with new friends and to be away

from my family which has been so abusive and toxic to me. Part of my

intention includes getting married and moving to another state.

Along with the rest of the gruesome tale I will not repeat, I have

given you everything I have. I know my request is rather big and I

will await your reply and keep up and learn. Thank you sir.

Janet
