Guest guest
I am sorry dear friends but I have a problem with this and have spoken about this specific addressing earlier. I realize that this could be taken the wrong way but here is my suggestion: Anything that is posted on the public forum should not be addressed for individuals to respond, by name. This puts a lot of pressure on individuals to respond even when they may be very busy with their own personal life and its responsibilities. And sometimes, querrants begin to repeatedly post, " Dear Amuk tamuk ji, I have been posting and begging you for a reading for the entire 72 hours last. Why do you not respond Deenbandhu? " etc etc! Why this kind of pressure on a nice person who has been trying to help others by sacrificing sleep and putting extra energy into this pursuit of passion and love? We all have been there and suffered due to it through ill-health or whatever the cost may have been! Additionally, when such posts are made with the jyotishi named in the header, others feel a bit uncomfortable responding thinking that it might offend the other jyotishi. Who needs to walk on eggshells like this on a PUBLIC FORUM? If someone wants to get specific attention of someone, they should write to the individual PRIVATELY and this forum allows that. Just click on the send email option to the right of the message as you are reading it and then it goes from your private email to the jyotishi's email. Jyotishis who do not want this kind of private intrusion I believe have the option to block their email (not sure if this forum permits that...!) and in this case at least you (querrant) know what the wish is of the jyotishi and avoid all the public display of angst and anxiety! And to the DEAR JYOTISHIS, on a public forum, each query no matter to whom it is directed should be agreed upon as something that anyone can respond to. Professional or simply social courtesy would demand though, that even if one disagrees with another jyotishi, we do not specifically directly or indirectly criticise their analysis. In fact, we are all perhaps too busy to spend time reading another person's analysis of a publicly posted chart anyway. So this situation should not arise at all! I hope the owner/moderator would tell me/us here if my understanding about the forum etiquette is incorrect if they feel I have advised forum members wrongly. I am flexible, I can still learn ;-) Rohiniranjan , Prashant Kumar G B <gbp_kumar wrote: > > sri sri > > I had mentioned a few times in groups that I am pre-occupied with construction at home [may last till feb mid] and may respond to some when I have time > > and when I do i clearly avoid the ones > > addressed in subject line as > to bhaskar only > respected bhaskar only etc... > > and choose 3-4 pages behind the DAY i log in on threads without any ref to him > > this I did last yr and this yr too > > but somehow by chance it appears some of these he has also replied and HE AND HIS TEAM feel I am steeling his customers, with a lot of bad stuff behind it in streams, threats, falsehood on me and anyone who has a different view is accused of being me or some of my fake ID's and when the moderator intervenes comes with soft messages > > most of them I try to explain as not connected but still the mud slinging is regular > > last yr another coincidence in the lists > of some one hacking his website > > in last yrs it said they had deleted his membership from a few groups > [but if we look carefully in his earlier posts he himself clearly said he was fed up and d from many of the 64 groups he was in] > > this yr is suggesting a possible theft of income.... > > WHEN IS COMMON KNOWLEDGE THAT there is no money in groups for the 100s ones writes may be one or two may offer to pay > > basically all my messages thru the yrs have the same vein no change in it > > I never put my financial or family health in public and never projected a weak side one yr and this yr say worth crores all of a sudden.[7 months from a very pitiful post last May 13 2007] > > WHY I SAID THIS NOW IS if I attempt to reply I will be again accused of stealing his clients u get his permission to ask me to reply i will. > > i believe forums r not yellow pages to market ourselves but a forum to share what we know [i appreciate ur asking that is the real side of a group.form I wud have answered it if it was anyone else's answer already]. > > else search for gems in my replies u will find my views as well to several members queries. > > in gen Hindu culture, knowledge talks of mind over matter, > most of the prescriptions r palliatives [b V RAMAN said so] > > rest u can search in archives > > I DON'T MEANT TO START A FRESH STORM HERE > but remember my situation is not easy > > it is for peace I am withholding my views > and short 2 line reply on what I feel on gems I said as the other accusation is also smeared on me , nothing to share > > HEADS I LOOSE, TAILS THEY WIN. > > best wishes > > shri shri <shri1808 wrote: Respected Prashant Ji and Bhaskar ji > > > A few weeks there mails on do gems really help the wearer for which, Shri Bhaskar ji wrote a wonderful explaination providing the logic behind it. > > While I appreciate the fact that our charts depict various influences of planets, and that we take up various remedies like puja's, gems etc as suggested in the ancient texts and try to overcome the bad influences of planets or their periods. Guest guest
Dear all members I apologise for putting names in the subject line and adressing the mail only to a specific set of people in a group. As Prashant GB and Rohiniranjan ji have pointed out it I would refrain from such things in future. Sorry for that Shri Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan wrote: I am sorry dear friends but I have a problem with this and have spoken about this specific addressing earlier.
