Guest guest
How do Jyotishis feel about this? Should Jyotishis utilize information acquired from their knowledge of Jyotish to improve their worldly or even mental or spiritual fates and bounties? Have YOU as an astrologer done that? We want to hear about your positive or negative experiences! I have often wondered about accomplished Jyotishis such as BV Raman or KN Rao or PS Sastry, or KS Krishnamurthi, or Bepin Behari or Sanjay Rath or PVR Narasimha Rao or VK Chowdhry or other beacons in the east and the west? Have these great doyens of modern jyotish ever used jyotish to figure out their personal problems in life? What about Parashara, Kalidasa, Varahamihira, Jaimini and Mukunda Ballabh? And many others to follow those beacons? What do we KNOW about these ICONS or do we just assume and imagine? Enquiring minds want to know! Guest guest
Dear Dada (and others too!), Do you think, feel, have experienced that some nativities are less influenced by fate as opposed to others? Does this have an astrological basis? By that I don't mean some classical quote or a quote from some " classic " unless it has been examined and tested and so on! I say that not out of disrespect for " ancient " knowledge but the " apabhransha " proclivity of humans! Even straight and simple forum messages get within half a week of their posting get distorted and paraphrased and manipulated into " whatever suits one's purpose! " and we have seen that hundreds of times if we have seen it once! So, in that vein I ask from serious jyotishis if they have found some glimpse or even clear indication based on astrological combinations purely if an individual is more likely to be a puppet of his or her own destiny (past karmas) or a creator of own destiny in this lifetime or future ones? :-) If fate was atal and supreme and " Jo honaa hai woh to hoyegaa hi " , then astrology is not purposeful and remedies and muhurtaas are just pacifiers to soothe infant souls! Not trying to rock the boat or anything, but just looking for answers that make sense to the above puzzle ...
