It was a pity that for some reason the formatting came through in such a way that it was difficult to follow easily Dear Rohini: So sorry to hear that. I'm sending a response here, via the group instead. Hopefully that'll be better. However the bulk of your writing seemed to be addressing the question, " Does jyotish work? " . That was never the question or issue. We all know that already and even after a few years of sincere study that becomes very apparent. That is why people stay with jyotish as long as 22 years in your case and even longer in many other cases :-) That said, there was a somewhat confusing piece which I quote below: " Now, 38 years of meditation and 22 years of practicing Jyotish have > improved my Moon so much I can't even recognize myself. > > I'm > not that shy, overly sensitive, vulnerable person emotionally! > > Our charts do fit us. " I am sure you would notice the controversy in your presentation! On the one hand you are saying that people do fit their classical chart description but at the same time you are saying that people can change with remedies, yoga, meditation etc. What I was trying to give expression to here was the fact that #1 Our charts really do fit us. So, my chart when I was young really did fit the classic descriptions of the malefic ness of my Moon. On the other hand, astrology is also about self-development and self-improvement. Therefore, practicing Yogic and meditation remedies and then 22 years of Jyotish, literally changed by chart! And this is my point. Not only our charts about our beginnings but about how and where we're supposed to improve ourselves, If we don't do Jyotish remedies then we will very likely repeat the gloom and doom of our original birth charts. But, predictions for me, based on my original birth chart do not affect me nearly as negatively as in the past. By that what I am understanding is that people can change, despite what their classical chart descriptions indicate! A shy person's birthchart will not change but he or she can outgrow the shyness that would be the classical description for the chart! Yes. sort of. We can change any of the malefic situations in our charts. A so-called shy person's birth chart will not change, on paper, but their chart inside; or their nervous system, their personality, mind set, even emotional nature can improve! I think that is the general assumption and hope of such groups like Jyotish Remedies here. But thanks for trying to address the issue that is certainly not easy...! Best wishes, RR You're very welcome. It's not only difficult to describe because the whole, most recent history of Jyotish like other vedic sciences is riddled with too much fatalism. My Guru, in fact, used to say: " If Jyotish was only about predicting the dangers on the horizon, then it might be better to not know what was coming. " Therefore, astrology is all about helping us change our trends of time and becoming the un-developed person that's there inside of our charts. Sincerely, Mark Kincaid Nature's Astrology www..com (Temporarily under re-construction)/
Guest guest
Mark, Just posting one segment as opposed to the entire thread which has really come through jumbled with strange characters such as: <../../../message/53544;_ylc=X3oDMTJyNTQybmhrBF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkA zk\ > 2OTk4NjIEZ3Jwc3BJZAMxNzA1MDgyNjkwBG1zZ0lkAzUzNTQ0BHNlYwNkbXNnBHNsawN2b XN\ > nBHN0aW1lAzEyMjY2NTUwNjg-> Not sure what is going on! Anyway this is the portion I request you to concentrate on if possible: Mark Wrote: > What I was trying to give expression to here was the fact that #1 Our charts really do fit us. > > So, my chart when I was young really did fit the classic descriptions of the malefic ness of my Moon. > > On the other hand, astrology is also about self-development and > self-improvement. > > Therefore, practicing Yogic and meditation remedies and then 22 years of Jyotish, literally changed by chart! > > And this is my point. > > Not only our charts about our beginnings but about how and where we're supposed to improve ourselves, > ======================== Mark, I see your point but in that case an astrologer seeing your chart when you were younger would have been correct about what they saw in your chart. However, as you became more powerful with your meditation etc the chart stopped fitting you any longer and an astrologer seeing your chart would find that the " new and improved Mark Kincaid " does not fit the chart anymore and they would start messing around with your time to rectify your correct birthtime ;-) So from your example you should have stated that the chart fits only part of your lifetime! Does this mean that astrology now serves no purpose in the life of people like you who have improved above and beyond their original shy moon? What has your experience in this area? How many of the thousands that you saw the charts of have been so effective as your good self in climbing above and beyond their stars? :-) Rohiniranjan
Guest guest
dear RRji albeit your post is in response to the observations of markji, my view is as follows since these queries prop up in minds of qurents: in the palam of the hands of any native, the length and breadth of the lines changes and the lines indicae the then nature of the native. some signs and symbols too come and vanish. of course, finger prints and the circles or snails in the upper phalange of the fingers remain forever. if we see the same palm after say twenty years, you may see a greatly improved palm with larger and thicker lines with more clarity when the person has grown positively or the decrease, waning or loss of length and thickness in the lines with obfuscating nets and cuts and distortions when the native has fallen negatively. in face reading too, the face at birth changes over years and the facereading is given by seeing the then looking face. but in astrology, we keep referring the same old chart year after year, even after 100 years or till the person dies. hence i have added few more drivers of future other than the horoscope which i have been narrating all these years. yes, the audited karmic balance sheet of previous birth reflecting in the birthchart is reckoned but the updation needs to be done manually considering various factors which we cannot ignore. varshaphala, prashna chart etc. are few astro tools to do these updations. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Mark, > > Just posting one segment as opposed to the entire thread which has > really come through jumbled with strange characters such as: > > <../../../message/53544;_ylc=X3oDMTJyNTQybmhrBF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkA > zk\ > > > 2OTk4NjIEZ3Jwc3BJZAMxNzA1MDgyNjkwBG1zZ0lkAzUzNTQ0BHNlYwNkbXNnBHNsawN2b > XN\ > > nBHN0aW1lAzEyMjY2NTUwNjg-> > > > Not sure what is going on! > > Anyway this is the portion I request you to concentrate on if > possible: > > Mark Wrote: > > What I was trying to give expression to here was the fact that #1 > Our charts really do fit us. > > > > So, my chart when I was young really did fit the classic > descriptions of the malefic ness of my Moon. > > > > On the other hand, astrology is also about self-development and > > self-improvement. > > > > Therefore, practicing Yogic and meditation remedies and then 22 > years of Jyotish, literally changed by chart! > > > > And this is my point. > > > > Not only our charts about our beginnings but about how and where > we're supposed to improve ourselves, > > > > ======================== > Mark, > > I see your point but in that case an astrologer seeing your chart > when you were younger would have been correct about what they saw in > your chart.
