random mails into spam folder any clue 16/1

Dear Members,

 

esp those who have been a moderator or still in it, is this a bug or normal

thing occasionally some mails go to spam folder from same person one comes into

INBOX and one to spam it can be alternate or the next mail of a person

 

today a mail from Pt arjun and Sri vattem krishna ji too went that way, I have

seen this happen only since Dec 08

 

any inconvenience by such delays r not in my control, so pl bear with me

I have not changed the membership status of any old member to moderated so if

this happens to anyone it is not deliberate but has a clue in this problem any

solution, feedback on this is appreciated

 

 

any clues , feedback pl let me know

Note Msg nos 55309-12 were passed at the morning session at 7.30 am approx

 

no 55316-7 3 hrs later

 

55320 almost hrs later

This is very very common in my experience. I have made it a habit to

check twice or thrice a week my spam folders. I have found emails

from family and relatives (way more frequent exchange than with

people on mailing groups) automatically moved by the mailing

programs. I have learned to live with that as opposed to have to go

through tonnes of headers which truly are spam! Usually mailers allow

you to label senders or emails as " not spam " but this only works for

a few months so don't stop checking your spam or bulk folder

intermittently.

Dear RRji

 

this is true in many cases but in personal cases only we know it ina group mails

activity it can be misunderstood so have taken the extra mile to check if this

is possible to be addressed as it appears it is no different to our personal

mails

 

and in personal mails we may use different s/w or in browser mode also either

classic or beta version which has a java enableed RSS option WHERE UPDATES R

AUTOMATIC, THIS HAS MORE BUGS TTHAN CLASSIC MODEL OF MAILS PROGRAMS

Dear Friends,

We need however to learn to live with spam.If we donot want then add adressees

of such mails in our address books to restict spam

Spam need however to be checked periodically.
