Guest guest
/*om namo bhagavate narasimhaya*/ Dear Prakash , Dont depend on point system, its quite misleading. Every koota has its own importance and significance, which you can read all about in Prasna Marga. If you are troubled by your doubts, just take the professional consultation and decide based on all arguments which will come to your mind. Guest guest
||Jai Ramakrishna|| Dear " Dev " , Instead of doing this hard work of putting the Ashta Koota Milan, why not put the chart details & give the *match-makers* an opportunity for going through the chart. I remember, a fool once told me that " Ashta Koota Milan " is baseless, until you check the afflictions & planetary positions of both the charts. Seems, that fool's words are of no value today... Thank you, . http://gauravastro.150m.com , " Prakash L " <prak999 wrote: > > Dear Guruji, > > After matching making with the horoscope of bride, Bhakoot points came > to 0, Does this cause any trouble to the married life. Guest guest
Dear Gaurav, Kuta-nirnaya is actually quite helpful in areas other than modern marriages. It is a good business compatibility (lately spelled 'compatability' -- another spell to learn in my old age!) tool though it has not been tested against the MBTI or the MMPI etc or other four-lettered words. And I mean the 8 and the southern 10 factor versions! Whether societies have not, marriages have evolved though not to the liking of some! Kuta match is like that 3-feet higher diving board that all divers (divinators?) had to practice on before they could rise higher and see the pool from a higher vantage and needed to look at more factors in the charts other than a limited orientation point if you catch my dive! Even experienced divINATers feel the need to go back to that tiny board hanging 3-feet above the water and remind themselves how much *fun* it was when Rashi was all we knew or cared or enjoyed! No reason why those pleasant memories must not be revisited, each time we are up against a marathon, yet another chart that crosses our desk with increasing urgency! Guest guest
||Jai Ramakrishna|| Dear RRji, Yes. You are correct.Asta Koota(or Dasa Koot in Southern part of our country) is like a diving board, 3 feet higher, but what next when you are quite practised with the 3 feet higher diving board?Use the same platform or move further? If Rashi was the " only " factor for matchmaking then what is the need for further details?Only Rashi & Nakshatra would have been fine right?that means the person taking birth in 6 hrs of same nakshatra, same Rashi, will all enjoy the same marital life----good, then good;bad, then bad--isn't it? Guest guest
Dear Gaurav, I did not mean to imply that one must stay stuck to the 3 feet higher reality that Sylvia Browne proposes! ;-) It is more like the modern practice of going back to basics, going back to spend some days in the *cottage* as has become the hi-tech practice in some climes and countries! In the very primitive setting that I had been invited to over the years, the cottage was really primitive, the bathroom was -- too although the real PIONEER chose to GO in the woods despite the humongous mosquitos and black flies -- and he was my inspiration in some sense in this lifetime -- and yes the source in a way for my best writings and revelations (even if I say so myself!) that I share from time to time came from those moments of being fully at peace and ONE with Nature and in subjugation to Her that I came to know and WHO I call MA! Early on in my impressionable life, decades ago, I met a real scientist who happened to be a close relative by a marriage in my family, into my clan. Without HER support and blessings I would not have continued in this path of Astrology! You all may feel that scientists are closed-minded, but I KNOW better, NOW when I look back! Take it or leave it, folks!! In the end it all boils down to personal and direct experiences and THAT then motivates us to do what little we can without making fuss or making FUSS when ONLY absolutely necessary! Guest guest
Dear RR Ji, When an astrologer is flooded with horoscopes of a score of probables for a single match( multiply them with a number of such alliance seekers!!) down loaded from various matrimony.coms, he has a game on hand!! In such cases, there is no harm in taking the help of Ashta koot, dasa koot & dwadasa koots etc, aka.. the famous “3 feet diving board†(aptly named!!) as “first stage filter†But it is only one of the means and not the end. The English that we write is nothing but a collection of alphabets and study of astrology is not about re-inventing the wheel, but eploiting it,s power for the welfare of mankind. As we know, matching marriage charts is a fine balancing act for there is no such thing as a perfect match. A strong Jupiter associated with lagna/ 7th house , lagna/rasi sama saptama, avoidable dasa sandhi’s, Sun not in the 7th, no papa kartari yoga on 7th house,  an unafflicted 5th house, Dosha samya, kuja dosha considerations etc are all sine quo non for good matching, besides Panchanga kutas.. Marriage is a calculated risk not only for the couples, but also for the Jyothish who matches the horoscopes!! Jyothish is definitely not infallible, but “compromise†is the magic word for a good married life, lest it may turn into an albatross around the necks!!As some doctors are called, there are astrologers with " lucky hands " May their tribes breed!!RegardsSRS  --- On Mon, 16/2/09, Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan wrote: Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan Re: Need clairifcation on Bhakoot Monday, 16 February, 2009, 8:38 AM Dear Gaurav, I did not mean to imply that one must stay stuck to the 3 feet higher reality that Sylvia Browne proposes! ;-) It is more like the modern practice of going back to basics, going back to spend some days in the *cottage* as has become the hi-tech practice in some climes and countries!
