Hello `those concerned', All I can say is, if my previous arrogance didn't survive, those which I have right now will also go with time giving me a better understanding of life(didn't I mean it before). I never had a Guru to teach me things before I could learn it from life, but when I learnt it I only laughed at my own self. It helps..it has. I am sure this forum will also have some young astrologers who are learning or just turning professional( something no bigger philosophy can stop; let's look at the brighter aspect of it).If they can pick out of what I have written I have all reasons to feel worth it.' Precisely, what exactly not to do'.. is important for fearless prosperity and a complete blessing from life. It is a great relief that the ‘ranting’ (or will quacking be a better word?) will come to an end soon. Thank God for small mercies! The so called ‘sensational revelations’ and admissions of commissions & omissions made interesting reading, the kind of biographies that sell these days!. If ever you are looking for one who loves to hear only his voice and read only his words, this is the one!! But my apprehension is, these attention ‘seekers’ who are looking for a pastor for confession or a shoulder to cry about one’s sins or a punch bag for poking fun at and play black humor on well meaning gentlemen, will have a field day if such things continue. It is merely a 'side-effect' of being human! We all covet affirmation from others, applause and acknowledgment. But all that cannot happen overnight through a few postings here and there, planting a few 'landmines' in one thread and then starting another or similar insincere practices. Unfortunately, that seems to have become the lazy practice on many forums/fora. Sensationalism has overtaken sincerity. And the growing impatience is troubling! No one has the time to sift through all the material written but pick on a drop here, a sniff there ;-) I would not blame neecha Guru for that one, because as an astute observer and documenter on Jyotish in Silicon Reality for now more than 2 decades -- I think the Gurus are fine but the chelas are probably getting more volatile and need to anchor themselves better! Case in point? An entire thread where an individual goes from being someone not knowing much jyotish to being a practicing professional not only in Jyotish but another engaging full time profession and despite all the criticisms, pontifications and verbiage did not share his birthdata and then expects people to take his query seriously?
