Mercury itself being the 7th lord of rasi and navamsa chart may look elusive for a good number of astrologers including those practising KP. In the navamsa chart also it is with lagna and the in the rasi in the 9th house with 12th and 5th lord mars. Mercury being Atmakaraka and owning 10th house of navamsa chart as well as lord of khara nakshatra and placed in the constellation of sun having directional strength in 10th house of marriage break/denial. All rasi sandhi planet if Atmakaraka during their vimshottari mahadasa give trouble related to its signification houses. Here it is mercury related to 7th house of marriage and 10th house of profession. It appears that apparent unstability of job/sources of income has been the cause of non-materialisation of marriage blessings so far. Seek the lotus feet of Lord Mercury ( Vishnu).
