Various remedial measures - how they work

Dear friend,

 

 

Yantra are of two types.

 

One is complementing and another is of supplementing nature.

 

For example the Yantra for planet Saturn for Leo langa and Libra lagna would be

different.

 

For Leo Lagna the Yantra would temporarily ( normally for the first 3 months to

1 year, even the strongest of Yantra do not work beyond a period of 1 year)stop/

block all the effects (both positive as well as negative) of the harmful

planets.

 

Whereas the Yantra of the second type....i.e. strenthening measures would simply

enhance all the results both good and as well as bad of the Yogakaraka Planet

Saturn in the second case.

 

However, the metals.. such as iron for saturn....and copper for mars

etc.....put an immediate stop to the negative results/ energies of the planet

and acts as a sort of filter.

 

Though the Yantra and metals ruled by planets are very very cheap, commercial

minded astrloger do not find them useful for the following reasons:

 

Most of those astrologers even do not know the basics of finding a good muhurta

to put on the Yantra or the metal.

 

Secondly....it is very cheap !

 

As far as strengtheing weak planets are concerned I have found metals ruled by

planet and plant root remedies ( wearing of plant roots ruled by a planet, as

indicated by Jyotish Ventkatesh Sharma of Sarvartha Chintamani)in Brahma

Muhurta ( 1 and half hours before sunrise approximately) acts as a good

stregthening measure with minimal of side effects.

 

Next comes the role of mantra/ prayers for planets-

 

Shanti Mantra(propiating the angry planet) and Shakti mantra (strengthening the

planets).

 

The vedic mantra/ gayatri/prayers of planets having Rishi (guide/ teacher),

Chhanda ( poetic meter) and Keelakam ( the basic philosophy to succeed) and

Devata (Ideal) are the most effective measures for pacifying the angry planet as

well as strengthening the weak planets.

 

The prayers of the ruling God/ Goddess of planets ( Lord Shiva= for jupiter,

Lord Rama for sun, Lord Krishna / Goddess Gouri for Moon) are better alternative

for common people having no knowledge/ access to vedic resources.

 

Non-Vedic mantra;

 

Example : Om brum budhaya namah ( for mercury)

Om Sham Shanischaraya namah ( for saturn)

 

etc. are modifications of either tantric/ vedic mantra into Savar mantras...

 

It is better to avoid them...as these mantra blindly go on strengthening the

planet

 

Of course the mantra 'OM Ghrini Adityaya Namah' is a vedic mantra having Rishi

and Chanda, Devta and Keelakam etc. while I personally so far not able to trace

the vedic sources of other.

If one performs Gayatrai mantra or vedic mantra 'Akrishnene...' or 'Om Grhrini

Suryadityaya Namah' mantra of Surya (sun) he gets maximum benefits without side

effects

 

while doing the mantra

 

'Om Sam Suryaa Namah' has its side effects.

 

Tantrik mantra like 'Panchanguli Mantra' for planet mercury for

Aries/Leo/Libra/Aquarius/Pisces lagna born can land into serious physical/

mental/ financial troubles.

 

So in my humble experience,

 

Change in attitude and work pattern along with social welfare,

Prayers to ruling deity,

Recitation of Vedic Mantra

Using Plant root remdies,

Metals ruled by planets,

Yantra for strengthening planets with prayers,

Yantra for stopping/ blocking planetary effects,

Gemstones with prayers

 

are the remedial measures in the order of their efficacy and harmlessness.

 

Last but not the least, the proper identification of the root causes of the

problem ( behavioural/ attitude/understanding environment and persons around us

at certain point of time/ having an impartial commonsense and practical approach

to life)is most helpful in minimising our problems.

Mrutyunjay sir ,

 

If Om Sham Shaneshcharaya namaha mantra doesnot have a Rishi , which mantra for

Shani bhagwan is most appropriate ?

 

Can one recite

 

" Neelanjana Samabhasam - Ravi putram - Yama grajam ; Chaya martanda - Sambhutam

- Tam namami Shaneshcharam "

 

 

Similarly which is the best mantra for Sun God.

 

I know of " Om Shree Surya Surya devayaa namaha " and Surya-Akshatakam. I am not

able to recite Aditya Hridayam because of difficult words.
