respested astrologers,

I have come through a very different type of horoscope of a boy chetan

his details are 07-01-1976 16.17pm at rajkot birth.

Actually when I see his horo I find it very good in every way mean in finance or

marrage or studies but in real there is nothing being happening like that so i

will like to have your opinion in this matter what you think why is this

happening in opposite way to I calculated.

He is having vrushabh lagna and mars in lagna and venus in 7th house so I

calculated a very good love marrage life n very good partner n marrage after 28

but in this case he is 33 still unmarried he had an affair was good looking gal

but they had made a court marrage in 1998 september and got divorcee in 2001 the

marrage was on paper only but they were staying at there own homes means gal at

her and boy at his had no relation physic . now they have parted and they boy

wants to marry again . Now coming to the point of finance situation as there is

chandra guru gajkesriyog in 11th house also venus mars laxmiyog and guru in own

house I said that the boys financial position will b very good but to my

surprise boy was doing share trading business and he lost so much in that

business now he is having no business and doing still share trading on very

small scale . I also read in his horo that he will have good education but in

that case also I been wrong he left his studies incomplete as he fall in

dipression. so neither he is having business no finance no marrage no love

inspite of having such a good horoscope he is having nothing . He was in

dipresssion for 5 years and was not able to do anything . So any of you

knowledged person plz make me understand this horo better that why is this

person still unmarried coz as per his saying that marrage could not be

considered as marrage at all coz that was a sign only nothing else that.

Also i wanted to know why is his financial position not so good though he is

having such good yog of money . what will be his financial position in future

and what business should he do ? Also will he marry ? now how will be his future

marrage life n partner .will it again b a love or arrange marage ? n what

remedies should I tell him ?

Plz kindly do help me to read this horo properly n let me know where i have

mistaken to understand this horo .

I became interested in this post due to its academic nature and Sri Prashant

ji's subsequent answer. This is not for discrediting Sri Prasant Ji. He has

provided a very valid view. I just want to provide a different view for the

students of astrology.

The post was done with three aspects in mind.

a) Marriage

b) Education

c) Finances

Now if we look at the rasi chart, Lagna is Taurus with its lord Venus aspecting

its own sign from the 7th. Hence Lagna could be considered strong. Hence most of

the events could be read from lagna.

Now let us try to analyze the effects for the query

Marriage.

Marriage is read from the 7th house & Venus being the Kalathra Karaka. Now the

question is does this person will have a married life?. Why did his marriage

broke out?. Will he be married again?. Why is his marriage taking too long?.

Love Marriage?.

In fact almost all of the could be answered by the rasi chart itself with some

help from navamsa positions also.

It is well known that Kalathra karaka in kalathra sthana shall destroy that

bhava. Here Venus being in the Kalathra Sthana shall destroy martial happiness.

In fact it gives multiple marriages. Parivathana being the Lagna lord & 7th lord

is a strong contender for love marriage. Retrograde Mars aspect to the 7th house

further indicates breaking of marriage. Venus in Mars sign and mars in venus

sign – Kuja Sukra yoga indicates other relationships other than from marriage.

However, this effect may be very prominent in reality due to other factors,

which I shall explain later. Venus in Scorpio is sign that indicates 2 as its

number by itself indicates 2 marriages. If we consider Lahiri Ayanamsa, navamsa

of venus falls in scorpio itself – vargottama. This helps only to confirm the

multiple marriage effects provided by venus & mars acting as a marriage breaker.

Education:

Mercury is the karaka for education, qualifications. 4th house Vidhya, & 2nd

house-Vak are also to be considered for education. 5th house being Prajna

(higher intelligence) & Jupiter cannot be ruled out completely particularly if

we are considering such education as management, Secretarial practice,

Accountancy etc. here mercury is in the sign of a retrograde planet – Saturn

aspect it. Saturn being a passive, negative, pessimistic planet, is bound to

subdue the karakatva or bhava of those planet it aspects. Hence, Saturn by its

natural & retro effect subdues the educational chances of this person. Further

retrograde mars aspects the 4th house that should tell us about breakage of

education. Further, Sun 4th lord is placed in the 8th house from lagna.

2nd house – Gemini is helmed between two powerful malefic planets – Retro Mars &

Retro Saturn. One can imagine the effect this will have on the 2nd house.

However, the lack of educational qualification is not due to lack of

intelligence. Intelligence is the karaktva of Jupiter which is very strong in

its own house. Hence, it could assumed that this person is reasonably

intelligent.

Finances:

2nd house, its lord, & karaka Jupiter should be considered for understanding

finances.

Mercury, the lord of 2nd house is placed in the 9th. The house of Luck (bhagya

sthana). Mercury is also the karaka for documents & hence paper money – shares.

As we know, share trading & making money in that business largely depends on

luck. A lot of logical computations & study is also involved in it. This is

also indicated by Jupiter in the labha sthana. Hence once can understand his

interest in share trading.

However, as stated earlier, 2nd house is under Papamadhya sthity from Mars &

Saturn. Hence, destruction of 2nd house – dhana sthana is imminent. This is

further indicated by the position of mercury in the sign of a retrograde planet.

If we look at the dasa, His marriage broke out in the dasa of mercury. As per

Lahiri Ayanamsa, it happened when in 2001 when mercury dasa just started and as

per Raman Ayanamsa it happened during mercury mahadasa. Now the question is why

did mercury be a reason for breaking marriage?. Mercury dasa is generally

considered auspicious.

The picture becomes clear if we consider the Chandra lagna also. Chandra lagna

is equally strong as Udaya Lagna since Jupiter lord is placed in the Chandra

lagna in its own sign of pisces. The 7th house is kanya whose lord happens to be

Mercury. Mercury is Saturn sign aspected by its lord Saturn gave him marriage

and then broke it due to its retrograde effect.

Further the 2nd house of finance is having Ketu & gulika, 4th house is under

papa Madhya sthithy. Hence we can see that all these are confirmed from Chandra

lagna also.

Sun (atma karaka) in the 10th & lagna lord in the lagna show that he is his own

master and hence own business added to this the fact that he is in the jupiter's

sign (finance). Mar's aspect on the Karma sthana indicates karma bhanga.

Saturn's position in the trikona (5th house) from moon in the cancer (moon's

sign) is a strong contender for mood swings which leans towards depression,

particularly due to financial lose (jupiter's trikona also).

Once can surmise other effects also similarly. I have written this only to show

that once understand a lot more from the Rasi & Navamsa chart alone. I have not

quoted any slokas for fear of the length of this post which already is.

It is customary to provide some advice when a chart is read. Almost all the

planets are affected in the chart except for Jupiter. Hence I would advice to

conduct a Navagraha santhi homa & recite navagraha dhyana sloka every day which

should help him overcome his problems. Propitiation of Sree Durga is also very

appropriate.

I hope this shall help all students of astrology & particularly for the boy

also.
