I am in urgent need of your advice regarding my career. My birth details are: DOB: February 2, 1974 TOB: 13:33 Hrs POB: New Delhi, India I am currently in Florida, United States. I finished my MBA in May, 2008 from a good US university and my area of concentration (as well as my interest) is in Corporate Finance and Investments. However, since the time I graduated, which is almost an year now, I have not been able to secure a full-time job in the US. I did find a part-time temporary financial services and products sales job in November 2008, which I have continued in, albeit I haven't worked much since there is no salary and only sales related commission remuneration. I don't like this job (anyway it is temporary), and my OPT (Optional Practical Training) expires in mid-July, 2009. Therefore, I am very concerned about my future and my career. I was very keen to find a job in investment banking/investment management after my MBA, but the whole financial/banking industry took a plunge in 2008, and continues to suffer even now. However, there are job openings in this sector every now and then, but with increased expectations i.e, they all require someone with 2-5 yrs experience in the specific job area. Also, most of these companies are also not sponsoring H-1B visas right now. Hence, I have diversified my search, and am looking to start in any sector, to at least start and settle in as of now. But that has also been in vain so far. I am very close to the end of my OPT now (ends in mid-July 2009), and need to find a job, and get my H-1B visa as soon as possible. I will really appreciate if you can advise me about my career/future course, and any remedies/mantras for removal of obstacles, and success in my endeavours. I would also like to provide more information about me. I wore Moti in my right hand little finger from 2003 till mid-2006, and also wore Pukhraj in my right hand index finger from beginning 2004 till September 2008. Somehow, I felt that the combination was beneficial to me. I was able to find a good job in india in Jan 2004 (after being unemployed for five months), and then from July-August 2004, and more so beginning 2005, started doing well professionally. Also, I wrote my applications for MBA in 2005-06 and got admission with some scholarship in April 2006, and started my studies in the US from August 2006. However, after my studies (which went well), I haven't been successful in terms of my career, and in September 2008, upon recommendation from a respected elder, who also provides astrological remedies, I took off the Pukhraj, and have started wearing Panna (Emerald) in my right hand little finger. I also do regular puja everyday; I worship Bhagwan Shivji everyday, and also recite Hanuman Chalisa every evening, while worshipping other Gods/Goddesses according to their days such as Bhagwan Vishnuji on Wednesday, and Lakshami Mata and Ma Durga on Fridays. With regards my previous work experience, I have more than 10 yrs experience in India in the fashion apparel industry. I have worked in two firms and have managed their business development, sales, finance, and operations. However, my interest now lies in investment management/investment banking/corporate finance. Please advise if this is the right interest for me, and will I be successful in this field, and when will I find a suitable opening in this sector. Otherwise, is there anything else that I should be looking towards in terms of my career, which will be more fruitful for me. Moon in lgan in rohini and is in exaltation. This combination assure good success in life. Your vak known for 2nd needs care and attention as it questions your abilities for marketing skills.You need to work on communicative skills and product forwarding for buyers.Money/earnings will not be commensurating your skills.May be exports will be better and your income interms of dollars/foreign currency is assured. otherwise you can have 2nd option to be in teaching too to amke career.income will be fixed but job will be satisfying to you. venus retrograde as lord of 7th with three planets.family life will need some reconciliation. wearing pearl is good.others i hav eno comments as of now.
